Abstract
Description
本実施形態の始動制御装置は、図1に示す車両1に適用される。車両1は、駆動用のバッテリ5と、バッテリ5の電力を消費して作動する少なくとも二つの回転電機2,3と、一方の回転電機3により始動するエンジン4とを備えたハイブリッド車両である。本実施形態では、回転電機2が駆動用のモータ2(第二の回転電機)であり、回転電機3がエンジン4の動力で発電するジェネレータ3(第一の回転電機)である。本実施形態では、エンジン4の動力がモータ2の動力とは別に駆動輪に伝達されるように構成されているが、エンジン4の動力がジェネレータ3のみに伝達されるよう構成されていてもよい。また、車両1に他の回転電機が搭載されていてもよい。
始動制御を実施するための要素として、PHEV-ECU10には、第一判定部11,クランキング制御部12,第二判定部13,噴射指示部14,トルク制御部15,第三判定部16が設けられ、ENG-ECU20には噴射制御部21が設けられる。これらの要素は、各制御装置10,20で実行されるプログラムの一部の機能を示すものであり、ソフトウェアで実現されるものとする。ただし、各機能の一部又は全部をハードウェア(電子回路)で実現してもよく、あるいはソフトウェアとハードウェアとを併用して実現してもよい。
図2及び図3は、上述した始動制御を説明するためのフローチャート例である。このフローチャートは、例えば車両1のパワースイッチがオン状態のときに、PHEV-ECU10において所定の演算周期で繰り返し実施される。なお、最大出力SOPの算出,走行動作モードの設定(切り替え),ENG-ECU20による制御は、このフローチャートとは別に実施されている。
図4は、上述した始動制御を説明するためのタイミングチャートである。図中実線は、低出力状態のときの制御内容,回転数変化,トルク変化を示し、図中破線は、通常状態のときの制御内容,回転数変化,トルク変化を示す。
上述した始動制御装置の構成は一例である。上記の実施形態では、始動制御装置がPHEV-ECU10とENG-ECU20とから構成される場合を例示したが、始動制御装置が一つの電子制御装置から構成されてもよいし、三つ以上の電子制御装置から構成されてもよい。

Claims (5)
- ハイブリッド車両のエンジン始動制御装置において、
駆動用のバッテリと、
前記バッテリの電力を消費して作動するように構成された第一の回転電機及び第二の回転電機と、
前記第一の回転電機により始動するように構成されたエンジンと、
前記バッテリの最大出力が所定の下限値を下回る低出力状態であるか否かを判定するように構成された第一判定部と、
前記ハイブリッド車両が前記第一の回転電機及び前記第二の回転電機のうち少なくとも一方を動力源として前記バッテリの前記電力のみで走行するEVモードから前記エンジンを始動させる始動モードに遷移する際に、前記第一の回転電機を力行させて前記エンジンのクランキングを行うように構成されたクランキング制御部と、
前記クランキングが完了しているか否かを判定するように構成された第二判定部と、
前記クランキングが完了していると前記第二判定部が判定することに応じて、前記エンジンの燃料噴射を開始するように構成された噴射制御部と、を備え、
前記クランキング制御部は、前記第一判定部により前記バッテリの最大出力が前記低出力状態であると判定されている場合には、前記低出力状態とは異なる通常状態での前記クランキングの目標回転数よりも低い目標回転数にて前記第一の回転電機を力行させ、
前記第二判定部は、前記第一判定部により前記バッテリの最大出力が前記低出力状態であると判定されている場合には、前記クランキング中の前記第一の回転電機の実回転数が予め設定された目標範囲内で所定時間継続するという条件が成立したときに前記クランキングが完了したと判定することを特徴とする、エンジン始動制御装置。 - 前記目標範囲の最大値は、前記通常状態での前記クランキングの前記目標回転数よりも低い値に設定されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のエンジン始動制御装置。
- 前記クランキング中に、前記第一の回転電機の前記目標回転数と前記実回転数との差を用いたフィードバック制御により前記第一の回転電機のトルクを制御するトルク制御部をさらに備え、
前記トルク制御部は、前記第一判定部により前記バッテリの最大出力が前記低出力状態であると判定されている場合には、前記トルクの目標値を演算するためのフィードバック項を0以上に設定することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載のエンジン始動制御装置。 - 前記トルク制御部は、前記第一判定部により前記バッテリの最大出力が前記低出力状態であると判定されており、且つ、前記第二判定部により前記条件が成立したと判定された場合には、前記目標値を演算するためのフィードフォワード項を0に設定することを特徴とする、請求項3記載のエンジン始動制御装置。
- 前記第一判定部により前記バッテリの最大出力が前記低出力状態であると判定されるとともに前記第二判定部により前記クランキングが完了したと判定された場合に、前記第一の回転電機の前記実回転数又は前記エンジンの実回転数が、前記目標範囲よりも高い値に予め設定された完了閾値を超えることに応じて、前記エンジンの始動が完了したと判定するように構成された第三判定部をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエンジン始動制御装置。
