Abstract
Description
また、再稼働した当初においてプレエラストマーは不均一であり、そのため、安定したエラストマーフィルムが得られない。このような不均一のエラストマーフィルムを弾性部材として用いると歩留が低下し、材料の無駄が多くなる。
前記フィルム原料Mとなる溶融状態の樹脂を吐出部Tの吐出口TOから垂下してフィルム状の前記フィルム原料Mを連続的に吐出する垂下工程と、
シート用パスライン1に沿って前記シートS1を搬送する第1搬送工程と、
初期に形成された前記フィルム原料Mの初期形成部M1を切断して除去することで前記初期形成部M1が除去された前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを形成する形成工程と、
前記シート用パスライン1上の前記シートS1に前記先端部Eが重なり、互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1に沿って搬送する第2搬送工程と、
前記互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1から前記合流部に導入する導入工程と、を備える。
前記フィルム原料Mとなる溶融状態の樹脂を吐出口TOから垂下してフィルム状の前記フィルム原料Mを連続的に吐出する吐出部Tと、
初期に形成された前記フィルム原料Mの初期形成部M1が除去された前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを形成するために前記初期形成部M1を切り取る切断部7と、
前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを前記シートS1で受け止め、前記先端部Eが前記シートS1に重なり、互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを搬送するシート用パスライン1と、
前記互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1から導入される合流部と、を備える。
熱可塑性エラストマーとしては、たとえばポリエチレン共重合体を採用することができる(JPH10−29259 A参照)。
前記切断された初期形成部M1を除去する除去工程と、を備える。
なお、刃70はプレエラストマーMに接触してプレエラストマーMを切断する鋭利な機械的な刃物でもよいが、レーザーのようにプレエラストマーMに接触することなく、プレエラストマーMを切断できるものであってもよい。
前記シート用パスライン1上の前記シートS1に前記プレエラストマーMの先端部Eが接触して互いに重なる接触位置P2に前記シート用パスライン1を突出させる突出工程と、
前記切断された初期形成部M1を前記退避工程後、前記突出工程前に除去する除去工程と、を備える。
この場合、シート用パスライン1を退避させた状態で初期形成部M1を除去でき、初期形成部M1を除去し易いだろう。
このように初期形成部M1を落下させて除去する場合、前記初期形成部M1を除去するための装置を必要としない。なお、初期形成部M1はローラに巻き取られてもよい。
前記吐出口TOから吐出されて垂下した前記プレエラストマーMの前記先端部Eを前記突出工程後に前記シート用パスライン1において前記シートS1で受け止める受止工程を、更に備える。
なお、本明細書のカタカナ表記の一部には、その意味をより明瞭にするために英単語を()書で併記している。
まず、定常的な製造方法および装置について説明する。
なお、積層体WはホーンHによる超音波接合ではなく、加熱ロールにより熱溶着されて生成されてもよい。
図4Bの各冷却ロールT1,T2は、各々、スライドベース6に回転自在に支持され、ガイダ(guider)4に沿ってシリンダ(cylinder)5により、図4Bおよび図5Aに示すように水平方向に移動される。各冷却ロールT1,T2は図示しないモータにより周速度Vsで回転駆動される。一方、前記接合ロールArは図示しないモータによって前記周速度Vsよりも大きい周速度Vで回転駆動される。
なお、各冷却ロールは溶融樹脂またはフィルムを冷却するためのもので、冷媒が流れることによりロール表面を冷却する流路を内部に備えていてもよい。
なお、前記接合は前記積層体Wが伸縮領域と接合領域とを交互に有するように、例えば、間欠的に接合してもよい。
たとえば、冷却ロールは1つでもよい。また、冷却ロールを設けずに、プレエラストマーを空冷により冷却してもよい。
したがって、そのような変更および修正は、請求の範囲から定まる本発明の範囲内のものと解釈される。

Claims (15)
- 熱可塑性フィルムFとなるフィルム状のフィルム原料Mのパスラインを形成するパスライン形成工程を経た後に、合流部において前記熱可塑性フィルムFがシートS1に積層された積層体Wを製造する方法であって、前記パスライン形成工程は、
前記フィルム原料Mとなる溶融状態の樹脂を吐出部Tの吐出口TOから垂下してフィルム状の前記フィルム原料Mを連続的に吐出する垂下工程と、
シート用パスライン1に沿って前記シートS1を搬送する第1搬送工程と、
初期に形成された前記フィルム原料Mの初期形成部M1を切断して除去することで前記初期形成部M1が除去された前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを形成する形成工程と、
前記シート用パスライン1上の前記シートS1に前記先端部Eが重なり、互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1に沿って搬送する第2搬送工程と、
前記互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1から前記合流部に導入する導入工程と、を備える、製造方法。 - 請求項1において、前記熱可塑性フィルムFはエラストマーフィルムFであり、前記フィルム原料Mはフィルム状のプレエラストマーMである、製造方法。
- 請求項2において、前記形成工程は、
前記プレエラストマーMの幅方向Dに刃70が移動して前記初期形成部M1を切断する切断工程と、
前記切断された初期形成部M1を除去する除去工程と、を更に備える、製造方法。 - 請求項2において、前記形成工程は、
前記シート用パスライン1に前記初期形成部M1が接触しない退避位置P1に前記シート用パスライン1を予め退避させる退避工程と、
前記シート用パスライン1上の前記シートS1に前記プレエラストマーMの前記先端部Eが接触して互いに重なる接触位置P2に前記シート用パスライン1を突出させる突出工程と、
前記切断された初期形成部M1を前記退避工程後、前記突出工程前に除去する除去工程と、を備える、製造方法。 - 請求項3もしくは4において、前記除去工程は、
前記切断された初期形成部M1が前記シート用パスライン1に接触することなく落下することで実行される、製造方法。 - 請求項4において、
前記突出工程後に前記吐出口TOの下方において、前記シートS1が横方向または斜め横方向に搬送されて前記第1搬送工程が実行され、
前記吐出口TOから吐出されて垂下した前記プレエラストマーMの前記先端部Eを前記突出工程後に前記シート用パスライン1において前記シートS1で受け止める受止工程を、更に備える、製造方法。 - 請求項2において、前記パスライン形成工程後に、前記プレエラストマーMが固化した前記エラストマーフィルムFを前記合流部において前記シートS1に接合することで積層して前記積層体Wを生成する接合工程を備える、製造方法。
- 請求項7において、前記合流部である接合ロールArの外周面に沿って前記シートS1および前記エラストマーフィルムFが重なって搬送され、前記接合ロールAr上において前記接合工程が実行される、製造方法。
- 熱可塑性フィルムFとなるフィルム状のフィルム原料Mのパスラインを形成するパスライン形成工程を経た後に、合流部において前記熱可塑性フィルムFがシートS1に積層された積層体Wを製造する装置であって、
前記フィルム原料Mとなる溶融状態の樹脂を吐出口TOから垂下してフィルム状の前記フィルム原料Mを連続的に吐出する吐出部Tと、
初期に形成された前記フィルム原料Mの初期形成部M1が除去された前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを形成するために前記初期形成部M1を切り取る切断部7と、
前記フィルム原料Mの先端部Eを前記シートS1で受け止め、前記先端部Eが前記シートS1に重なり、互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを搬送するシート用パスライン1と、
前記互いに重なった状態の前記シートS1および前記フィルム原料Mを前記シート用パスライン1から導入される合流部と、を備える製造装置。 - 請求項9において、前記熱可塑性フィルムFはエラストマーフィルムFであり、前記フィルム原料Mはフィルム状のプレエラストマーMである、製造装置。
- 請求項10において、前記切断部は、
前記初期形成部M1を切り取るために前記プレエラストマーMの幅方向Dに移動する刃7を備える、製造装置。 - 請求項11において、
前記シート用パスライン1が前記初期形成部M1に接触しない退避位置P1と、前記シート用パスライン1上のシートS1に前記プレエラストマーMの前記先端部Eが接触して互いに重なる接触位置P2との間を前記シート用パスライン1を移動させる移動装置12を更に備える、製造装置。 - 請求項12において、
前記切断された初期形成部M1が除去されたのを検知して前記退避位置P1のシート用パスライン1を前記接触位置P2に移動させる制御装置10を、更に備える、製造装置。 - 請求項10において、前記合流部は前記プレエラストマーMが固化した前記エラストマーフィルムFを前記シートS1に接合して前記積層体Wを生成する、製造装置。
- 請求項14において、外周面に沿って前記シートS1および前記エラストマーフィルムFが重なって搬送される接合ロールArが前記合流部の少なくとも一部を構成する、製造装置。
