Abstract
Description
実施の形態の1例について、図1〜図6を用いて説明する。本例の車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニット1は、従動輪用であり、自動車の車輪を構成するタイヤ2およびホイール3、並びに、制動装置であるディスクブレーキ装置4を構成するロータ5を、懸架装置を構成するナックル6に対し回転自在に支持している。図示の構造では、ナックル6は、車体7に対し揺動変位を可能に支持されたアッパアーム8とロアアーム9により支持されている。

Claims (4)
- 内周面に外輪軌道を有し、懸架装置に支持されて回転しない外輪と、前記外輪の径方向内側に前記外輪と同軸に配置されており、外周面のうち前記外輪軌道と対向する部分に内輪軌道を有し、車輪とともに回転するハブと、前記外輪軌道と前記内輪軌道との間に転動自在に配置されている複数の転動体と、を有する軸受部と、
互いに同軸に配置された固定子と回転子とを有し、該固定子と該回転子との相対回転に基づき発電する発電機と、
車体側に配置された電子機器との間で無線により通信を行う無線通信器と、
を備えた車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニットであって、
前記ハブは、軸方向内側部の内径側にインナ凹部を、および、中心部に軸方向に貫通する貫通孔を備え、
該インナ凹部は、内周面に該ハブの中心軸と同軸の円筒面状の嵌合面部を、および、底面に前記貫通孔の開口を備え、
前記インナ凹部の内側には、外周面に円筒面状の案内面部を有する中空円筒状の支持部材が、該案内面部を前記嵌合面部に嵌合させた状態で支持固定されており、
前記回転子は、コイルを備えた電機子であり、前記支持部材の軸方向内側部に前記支持部材と同軸に固定されており、および、
前記無線通信器は、前記ハブに支持され、かつ、前記支持部材の径方向内側に配置されている、
車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニット。 - 前記ハブは、軸方向外側部の内径側にアウタ凹部を、および、該アウタ凹部と前記インナ凹部との間に隔壁部をさらに備え、前記貫通孔は該隔壁部に備えられている、請求項1に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニット。
- 前記外輪の軸方向内端開口を塞ぐカバーをさらに備え、該カバーのうち、少なくとも前記無線通信器と軸方向に対向する部分が、電波透過性を有する材料からなる、請求項1または2に記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニット。
- 前記固定子と前記回転子とが、径方向のエアギャップを介して対向している、請求項1〜3のうちのいずれかに記載した車輪支持用転がり軸受ユニット。
