Abstract
Description
本発明の目的は、水溶性樹脂に適用しても透明性を低下させず、かつ消泡性に優れた消泡剤を提供することである。
炭素数1〜25の活性水素含有化合物としては、水酸基(−OH)、イミノ基(−NH−)、アミノ基(−NH2)及び/又はカルボキシル基(−COOH)を少なくとも1個含む化合物が含まれ、アルコール、アミド、アミン、カルボン酸、ヒドロキシカルボン酸及びアミノカルボン酸が含まれる。
メタノール濃度を5容量%の間隔で変化させた水/メタノール混合溶液を調製し、これを容積10mlの試験管に5ml入れる。次いで測定試料0.2gを入れ、試験管にふたをして、20回上下転倒してから1〜2分間静置した後、凝集物を観察して、凝集物がなく、測定試料の全部が湿潤して均一分散した分散液のうち、メタノール濃度が最も小さい分散液のメタノールの濃度(容量%)をM値とする{M値の単位(容量%)は記載しないことが通例である。}。

攪拌の可能な容器内で、ポリエーテル化合物(a4)300部、ポリエーテル化合物(a5)695部、ヒュームドシリカ(b4)5部及び水(c1)30部を30分間攪拌混合して、本発明の消泡剤(9)を得た。
金属石鹸系消泡剤「ノプコDF122−NS」(特許文献1の実施例で使用した「DF−5」)を比較用の消泡剤(H1)とした。
1.試験用水溶性樹脂組成物の調製
ポリビニルアルコール[クラレポバールPVA−217(重合度1,700、けん化度88モル%)、株式会社クラレ]100部及び評価試料(各消泡剤)0.5部を均一に混合して試験用水溶性樹脂組成物を得た。
試験用水溶性樹脂組成物40部及びイオン交換水(約25℃)960部を撹拌混合しながら90℃まで加熱し、90℃で30分間攪拌混合を続けて試験用水溶性樹脂組成物を均一溶解させた後、約25℃まで冷却し、加熱によって蒸発した分のイオン交換水を加えてポリビニルアルコールの濃度が4%になるように調整して消泡試験液を得た。
試験用水溶性樹脂組成物をポリビニルアルコール(消泡剤を均一混合しないもの)に変更したこと以外、上記と同様にして、消泡試験液(ブランク)も調製した。
ガラス製500mlメスシリンダー(以下、発泡管と称する。)を立てた状態で80℃に温度調節したウォーターバスに発泡管の95mlの目盛りまで浸漬して、この発泡管に、80℃に温度調節した消泡試験液100mlを入れ、デフューザーストーンを発泡管の底部まで挿入し300ml/分で窒素ガスをバブリングすることによって消泡試験液を泡立てながら、変化する泡及び発泡液の容量を試験開始15秒後、1分後及び2分後に読み取った。数値の小さい方が消泡性が高いことを意味し好ましい。
消泡性試験に用いた消泡試験液を試験後に密封下25℃で24時間静置することにより脱泡して、透明性試験液とし、この透明性試験液のヘーズ値(%:重量%ではなく全光線透過光に対する散乱光の百分率である。)を濁度計(日本電色工業株式会社、WATER ANALYZER 2000N)を用いて測定し、ヘーズ値を透明性の指標とした。ヘーズ値が低いほど、透明性に優れる。
Claims (9)
- 1重量%イオン交換水溶液での曇点が20〜60℃であるポリエーテル化合物(A)とヒュームド金属酸化物及びコロイダル金属酸化物から選ばれる金属酸化物微粒子(B)とからなり、
ポリエーテル化合物(A)と金属酸化物微粒子(B)との重量に基づいて、ポリエーテル化合物(A)の含有量が80〜99.9重量%、金属酸化物微粒子(B)の含有量が0.1〜20重量%であることを特徴とする消泡剤。 - 1重量%イオン交換水溶液での曇点が20〜60℃であるポリエーテル化合物(A)とヒュームド金属酸化物及びコロイダル金属酸化物から選ばれる金属酸化物微粒子(B)と水(C)とからなり、
ポリエーテル化合物(A)と金属酸化物微粒子(B)との重量に基づいて、ポリエーテル化合物(A)の含有量が80〜99.9重量%、金属酸化物微粒子(B)の含有量が0.1〜20重量%、水(C)の含有量が1〜10重量%であることを特徴とする消泡剤。 - 金属酸化物微粒子(B)のメタノール湿潤性(M値)が35〜65である請求項1又は2に記載の消泡剤。
- 金属酸化物微粒子(B)がヒュームドシリカである請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の消泡剤。
- ポリエーテル化合物(A)が、一般式(1)で表されるポリエーテル化合物(A1)、一般式(2)で表されるポリエーテル化合物(A2)、一般式(3)で表されるポリエーテル化合物(A3)、一般式(A4)で表されるポリエーテル化合物(A4)及び一般式(5)で表されるポリエーテル化合物(A5)からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の消泡剤。
- 水溶性樹脂と請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の消泡剤とを含むことを特徴とする水溶性樹脂組成物。
- 水溶性樹脂、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の消泡剤及び水を含むことを特徴とする水溶性樹脂水溶液。
- 水溶性樹脂がポリビニルアルコールである請求項6に記載の水溶性樹脂組成物。
- 水溶性樹脂がポリビニルアルコールである請求項7に記載の水溶性樹脂水溶液。
