Abstract
Description
本発明に係るイソブチレンの製造方法は、イソブタノールを脱水してイソブチレンを製造する方法であって、反応系中に有機酸および有機酸エステルの少なくとも一方が存在する状態でイソブタノールの脱水を行う。反応系中に有機酸および有機酸エステルの少なくとも一方を存在させることにより、イソブタノールの脱水反応において高い選択率でイソブチレンを製造することができる。
本発明に係るメタクリル酸の製造方法は、前記イソブチレンの製造方法によりイソブチレンを製造する工程と、前記イソブチレンを分子状酸素により気相接触酸化してメタクリル酸を製造する工程と、を含む。
式(A)中、Mo、Bi、Fe、Si及びOは、それぞれモリブデン、ビスマス、鉄、ケイ素及び酸素を表す。Aは、コバルト及びニッケルからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を表す。X1は、クロム、鉛、マンガン、カルシウム、マグネシウム、ニオブ、銀、バリウム、スズ、タンタル及び亜鉛からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を表す。Y1は、リン、ホウ素、硫黄、セレン、テルル、セリウム、タングステン、アンチモン及びチタンからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を表す。Z1は、リチウム、ナトリウム、カリウム、ルビジウム、セシウム及びタリウムからなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の元素を表す。a1、b1、c1、d1、e1、f1、g1、h1及びi1は各元素の原子比率を表し、a1=12のとき、b1=0.01〜3、c1=0.01〜5、d1=1〜12、e1=0〜8、f1=0〜5、g1=0.001〜2、h1=0〜20であり、i1は前記各成分の原子価を満足するのに必要な酸素の原子比率である。
前記式(B)中、P、Mo、V、Cu及びOは、それぞれリン、モリブデン、バナジウム、銅及び酸素を表す。X2は、砒素、アンチモン及びテルルからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種類の元素を表す。Y2は、ビスマス、ゲルマニウム、ジルコニウム、銀、セレン、ケイ素、タングステン、ホウ素、鉄、亜鉛、クロム、マグネシウム、タンタル、コバルト、マンガン、バリウム、ガリウム、セリウム及びランタンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種類の元素を表す。Z2は、カリウム、ルビジウム及びセシウムからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種類の元素を表す。a2、b2、c2、d2、e2、f2、g2及びh2は各元素の原子比率を表し、b2=12のとき、a2=0.1〜3、c2=0.01〜3、d2=0.01〜2、e2=0〜3、f2=0〜3、g2=0.01〜3であり、h2は前記各元素の原子価を満足するのに必要な酸素の原子比率である。
本発明に係るメタクリル酸メチルの製造方法は、前記メタクリル酸の製造方法によりメタクリル酸を製造する工程と、前記メタクリル酸を酸触媒存在下でメタノールとエステル化反応させることによりメタクリル酸メチルを製造する工程と、を含む。該方法によれば、イソブチレンから高い選択率でメタクリル酸メチルを製造することができる。例えば、前記方法により製造されたメタクリル酸を、抽出、蒸留操作等により回収し、酸触媒存在下、メタノールとエステル化反応させることによりメタクリル酸メチルを製造することができる。
イソブチレンの選択率(%)=(γ/δ)×100
α:供給したイソブタノールのモル数
β:反応したイソブタノールのモル数
γ:生成したイソブチレンのモル数
δ:ガスクロマトグラフィーで検出された反応生成物(イソブチレン、イソブタン、1−ブテン、シス−2−ブテン及びトランス−2−ブテン)の合計のモル数。
イソブタノール(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度99.5質量%)50gに酢酸イソブチル(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度98.0質量%)を0.01g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを0.02質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを0.05g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを0.10質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを0.25g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを0.49質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを1.0g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを1.93質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを1.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを2.87質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを2.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを4.69質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを3.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを6.45質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸イソブチルを5.0g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸イソブチルを8.97質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸−tert−ブチル(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度98.0%)を2.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸−tert−ブチルを4.69質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸エチル(関東化学(株)製、純度99.5%)を1.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸エチルを2.91質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸(関東化学(株)製、純度99.7%)を0.25g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を0.50質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸を1.0g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を1.96質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸を2.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を4.77質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gにプロピオン酸(関東化学(株)製、純度99.0%)を1.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を2.90質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに吉草酸(東京化成工業(株)製、純度98.0%)を1.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対し吉草酸を2.87質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gにメタクリル酸(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度99.7%)を1.5g混合し、イソブタノールに対しメタクリル酸を2.92質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gにメタクリル酸(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度99.7%)を0.75gおよび酢酸エチル(関東化学(株)製、純度99.5%)を0.75g混合し、イソブタノールに対しメタクリル酸を1.46質量%および酢酸エチルを1.46質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸(関東化学(株)製、純度99.7%)を0.75gおよび酢酸イソブチル(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度98.0質量%)を0.75g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を1.46質量%および酢酸イソブチルを1.43質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸(関東化学(株)製、純度99.7%)を1.25gおよび酢酸イソブチル(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度98.0質量%)を0.25g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を2.43質量%および酢酸イソブチルを0.48質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール50gに酢酸(関東化学(株)製、純度99.7%)を0.25gおよび酢酸イソブチル(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度98.0質量%)を1.25g混合し、イソブタノールに対し酢酸を0.49質量%および酢酸イソブチルを2.39質量%含むイソブタノール混合溶液を調製した以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
イソブタノール混合溶液の代わりに有機酸および有機酸エステルが存在していないイソブタノール(和光純薬工業(株)製、純度99.5%)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様に行った。
Claims (9)
- イソブタノールを脱水してイソブチレンを製造する方法であって、反応系中に有機酸および有機酸エステルの少なくとも一方が存在する状態でイソブタノールの脱水を行うイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 前記有機酸および前記有機酸エステルの含有量が、前記イソブタノール質量と前記有機酸および前記有機酸エステルの質量の合計に対して0.005〜10質量%である請求項1に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 前記有機酸がカルボン酸であり、前記有機酸エステルがカルボン酸エステルである請求項1または2に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 前記カルボン酸が、酢酸、プロピオン酸、酪酸、吉草酸、及びメタクリル酸からなる群から選択される少なくとも一種である請求項3に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 前記カルボン酸エステルが、酢酸エステル、プロピオン酸エステル、酪酸エステル、吉草酸エステル、及びメタクリル酸エステルからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種である請求項3または4に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 反応系中に前記有機酸および前記有機酸エステルが存在する状態でイソブタノールの脱水を行う請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法によりイソブチレンを製造する工程と、
前記イソブチレンを分子状酸素により気相接触酸化してメタクリル酸を製造する工程と、
を含むメタクリル酸の製造方法。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のイソブチレンの製造方法によりイソブチレンを製造する工程と、
前記イソブチレンを酸触媒存在下で水和してターシャリーブチルアルコールを製造する工程と、
前記ターシャリーブチルアルコールを分子状酸素により気相接触酸化してメタクリル酸を製造する工程と、
を含むメタクリル酸の製造方法。 - 請求項7または8に記載のメタクリル酸の製造方法によりメタクリル酸を製造する工程と、
前記メタクリル酸を酸触媒存在下でメタノールとエステル化反応させることによりメタクリル酸メチルを製造する工程と、
を含むメタクリル酸メチルの製造方法。
