- 車両の走行制御を自動的に行う自動運転制御と運転者による手動運転制御とを切り替えて制御する自動運転車両に用いられる車両用情報呈示装置であって、
運転者の運転への意識量を推定する運転意識量推定部と、
前記運転意識量推定部によって推定された前記運転者の運転への意識量に応じて、前記運転者に呈示する情報を切り替える情報呈示制御部と
を備えることを特徴とする車両用情報呈示装置。 - 自動運転のシステム状態を判断するシステム状態判断部をさらに備え、
前記情報呈示制御部は、前記運転者の運転への意識量が第1の所定値以下のとき、前記システム状態を前記運転者に呈示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。 - 前記システム状態判断部は、前記システム状態に関するシステム自信度を算出し、

前記運転意識量推定部は、前記音声検出部によって検出された音声に基づいて、前記運転者の運転への意識量を推定することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。 - 前記乗員状態検出部は、前記車室内の音声から前記運転者の音声と運転者以外の音声を検出し、さらに前記運転者以外の音声から前記運転者の音声までの時間、前記運転者の発話速度、前記運転者のピッチ変動のうち少なくとも1つを検出することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。
- 前記乗員状態検出部は、
前記運転者の顔画像を撮影する撮影部と、
前記運転者の心拍数を計測する心拍数計測部とをさらに有し、
前記運転意識量推定部は、前記撮影部によって撮影された顔画像と、心拍数計測部によって計測された心拍数と、前記車室内の音声とに基づいて、前記運転者の運転への意識量を推定することを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。 - 前記乗員状態検出部は、前記顔画像から瞳孔径の大きさ、あくびの頻度、まばたきの長さ、目をこする頻度のうち少なくとも一つを検出することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。
- 前記乗員状態検出部は、
前記乗員の姿勢を検出する姿勢検出部を有し、
前記運転意識量推定部は、前記姿勢検出部によって検出された姿勢に基づいて、前記乗員の運転への意識量を推定することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。 - 前記情報呈示制御部は、前記運転者の運転への意識量が第1の所定値より大きい場合、運転支援に関する情報を前記運転者に呈示することを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。
- 前記運転支援に関する情報は、自動運転から手動運転に切り替わる際に前記運転者が行う操作に関する情報であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。
- 前記情報呈示制御部は、前記システム状態判断部によって前記システム状態に異常があると判断された場合、前記システム状態が異常であることを示す情報を前記運転者に呈示することを特徴とする請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用情報呈示装置。
