Claims (5)
- 圧電体層および内部電極層が交互に複数積層されて側面に前記内部電極層の端面の一部が露出している積層体を有しており、該積層体の側面に一対の外部電極が接合されてそれぞれ前記内部電極層に接続される積層型圧電素子において、前記内部電極層は、内部に多数の気孔を有しているとともに、前記積層体の側面に露出している端面に前記気孔が実質的に存在しないことを特徴とする積層型圧電素子。
- 前記積層体の側面に露出している前記内部電極層の端面は、研磨加工によって表面が均されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層型圧電素子。
- 前記積層体の側面に露出している前記内部電極層の端部は、上下の前記圧電体層の側面にかかって広がっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層型圧電素子。
- 噴射孔を有する容器と、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の積層型圧電素子とを備え、前記容器内に蓄えられた流体が前記積層型圧電素子の駆動により前記噴射孔から吐出されることを特徴とする噴射装置。
- 高圧燃料を蓄えるコモンレールと、該コモンレールに蓄えられた前記高圧燃料を噴射する請求項4に記載の噴射装置と、前記コモンレールに前記高圧燃料を供給する圧力ポンプと、前記噴射装置に駆動信号を与える噴射制御ユニットとを備えたことを特徴とする燃料噴射システム。
