Abstract
Description
本実施の形態に係る炭素材料の分散液は、表面がフッ素化処理された炭素材料が、分散質として分散媒に分散されたものである。本発明の分散とは、前記炭素材料が分散媒に対して親和性を示し、かつ、凝集・沈殿をすることなく均一に混ざり合って平衡な状態となっていることを意味する。
本実施の形態に係る炭素材料の分散液の製造方法は、炭素系材料の表面をフッ素化処理する工程と、フッ素化処理後の炭素材料を分散媒に分散させる工程とを少なくとも含む。
PTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン)容器(容量5mL)に多層カーボンナノチューブ(500mg)を導入し、本容器を電解研磨されたSUS316L製チャンバー(容量30mL)に設置した。更に、チャンバー内を窒素に真空置換し、窒素気流(20mL/min)下、2℃/minで250℃に昇温して、3時間の恒温処理を行った。
ニッケル容器(容量5mL)に多層カーボンナノチューブ(500mg)を導入し、本容器をニッケル製チャンバー(容量30mL)に設置した。更に、チャンバー内を窒素に真空置換し、窒素気流(20mL/min)下、2℃/minで350℃に昇温して、3時間恒温処理を行った。
ニッケル容器(容量5mL)に多層カーボンナノチューブ(500mg)を導入し、本容器をニッケル製チャンバー(容量30mL)に設置した。更に、チャンバー内を窒素に真空置換し、窒素気流(20mL/min)下、2℃/minで600℃に昇温して、3時間恒温処理を行った。
PTFE容器(容量5mL)にグラファイト(500mg)を採取し、本容器を電解研磨されたSUS316L製チャンバー(容量30mL)に設置した。更に、チャンバー内を窒素に真空置換し、窒素気流(20mL/min)下、2℃/minで250℃に昇温して、3時間恒温処理を行った。
PTFE容器(容量5mL)に多層カーボンナノチューブ(500mg)を導入し、本容器を電解研磨されたSUS316L製チャンバー(容量30mL)に設置した。更に、チャンバー内を窒素に真空置換し、窒素気流(20mL/min)下、2℃/minで250℃に昇温して、3時間恒温処理を行った。

本比較例においては、前記実施例1で使用した多層カーボンナノチューブに対し、フッ素化処理を行うことなく使用した。
フッ素化処理後の各多層カーボンナノチューブを分散媒に添加し(以下、「初期溶液」という。)、下記表1に示す初期濃度に調製をした。分散媒の種類については、下記表1に示した通りである。これらの分散液を、それぞれ同一の分散媒を用いて10倍に希釈した後、更に100倍に希釈した。上記濃度に調製した各分散液に対し、分光光度計を用いて250nmにおける吸光度を測定し、濃度校正曲線を作成した。
下記表1から分かる通り、各実施例1〜4に係る多層カーボンナノチューブ、グラファイトを分散媒に分散させた分散液においては、各分散液の初期濃度に対する変化量が小さいことが確認された。これにより、各実施例の炭素材料であると、120時間経過後であっても沈殿がほとんどなく、良好な分散性を示していることが確認された。その一方、各比較例1及び2に係る多層カーボンナノチューブを分散媒に分散させた分散液においては、各実施例の場合と比較して濃度が低下しており、沈殿が生じていることが確認された。また比較例3では、多層カーボンナノチューブがエタノールに添加した当初から分散しなかった。
Claims (9)
- フッ素濃度が0.01〜100vol%の処理ガスを、150〜600℃の条件下で炭素材料に接触させ、その表面がフッ素化処理された炭素材料が分散媒に分散されてなる炭素材料の分散液。
- 前記フッ素化処理された炭素材料は、その表面に炭素−フッ素結合が導入されたものである請求項1に記載の炭素材料の分散液。
- 前記分散媒が極性溶媒である請求項1に記載の炭素材料の分散液。
- 前記炭素材料がカーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノコイル、フラーレン、グラファイト、カーボンブラック、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン、炭素繊維又は非晶質カーボンである請求項1又は2に記載の炭素材料の分散液。
- フッ素濃度が0.01〜100vol%の処理ガスを、150〜600℃の条件下で炭素材料に接触させて、その表面がフッ素化処理された炭素材料を生成する工程と、前記フッ素化処理された炭素材料を分散媒に分散させる工程とを含む炭素材料の分散液の製造方法。
- 前記炭素材料にフッ素化処理をした後、前記処理ガスを不活性ガスに置換して不活性雰囲気下にし、更に前記フッ素化処理後の炭素材料を室温まで冷却させる工程を行う請求項5に記載の炭素材料の分散液の製造方法。
- 前記フッ素化処理は、前記炭素材料の表面に対し炭素−フッ素結合を導入するものである請求項5又は6に記載の炭素材料の分散液の製造方法。
- 前記分散媒として極性溶媒を使用する請求項5〜7の何れか1項に記載の炭素材料の分散液の製造方法。
- 前記炭素材料として、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンナノコイル、フラーレン、グラファイト、カーボンブラック、ダイヤモンドライクカーボン、炭素繊維又は非晶質カーボンを使用する請求項5〜8の何れか1項に記載の炭素材料の分散液の製造方法。
