容器101は、厚み0.5mmの透明アクリル樹脂板により作製した。容器101は、32mm×17mm×12mmの直方体とした。凝縮液の形成過程を観察するために、容器101を透明体により作製することが好ましい。容器101は一体成型しても良い。
本実施例ではヒトの呼気を分析した。本実施例において、呼気分析装置は実施例1と同じものを用いたため、呼気分析装置の説明を省略する。

Claims (17)
- 呼気分析装置を用いて呼気を分析する方法であって、
前記呼気分析装置は、
容器と、
前記容器の一端に設けられた呼気の注入口と、
前記容器の他端に設けられた呼気の排出口と、
前記容器の内部に設けられた冷却部と、
前記冷却部の近傍に設けられた電極部と、
前記容器の内部に設けられた対向電極部と、
前記対向電極の近傍に設けられた化学物質検出部を備え、
前記呼気は水蒸気と揮発性有機化合物を含み、
前記方法は、
前記呼気を前記注入口から前記容器へ注入する注入工程と、
前記冷却部により前記電極部を冷却して前記電極部の外周面に前記呼気を凝縮する凝縮工程と、
凝縮された前記呼気を帯電微粒子化する帯電微粒子化工程と、
前記帯電微粒子を前記化学物質検出部へ静電気力により回収する回収工程と、
回収された前記帯電微粒子に含まれる揮発性有機化合物を検出する検出工程と
を包含する呼気分析方法。 - 前記揮発性有機化合物の分子量は、15以上500以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法
- 前記容器は、閉鎖可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記冷却部は、熱電素子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部は、前記冷却部により水蒸気の結露点以下に冷却されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部と前記冷却部とは、直接または熱伝導体を介して接触していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部は陰極、前記対向電極部は陽極であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記帯電微粒子は水および呼気成分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記化学物質検出部は、前記帯電微粒子により帯電する電荷を除去する機構を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記化学物質検出部は、接地されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記化学物質検出部は前記容器から分離可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記帯電微粒子化工程は、静電霧化であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記帯電微粒子化工程において、前記電極部と前記対向電極部の間を流れる電流に応じて、前記電極部と前記対向電極部との間の電圧印加を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記回収工程において、前記対向電極に対して前記化学物質検出部へ電圧を印加することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部に付着した化学物質を除去するには、前記電極部を加熱することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部を加熱して化学物質を除去するには、前記熱電素子を用いることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項14に記載の呼気分析方法。
- 前記電極部に付着した化学物質を、前記呼気以外の気体の気流により除去することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の呼気分析方法。
