【発明の詳細な説明】 3、発明の詳細な説明 この発明は、熱絶縁された導管のためのソケット結合部
を製造する際の熔接工程の制御方法であって、結合箇所
を外管端部上に載置されたソケットによって被い、プラ
スチックから成るソケットを同じくプラスデックから成
る外管の端部に溶接し、ソケットと外管の間の各間隙に
蛇行形状または螺旋形状の一本または複数本の抵抗線を
挿入し、これらの抵抗線が通電時に相互に溶接すべきソ
ケットと外管の表面を熔接可能な状態にし、加圧加温下
でそれらの表面の溶接を行う、方法に関する。 西トイ
7国実用新案第号8204372明細書から、プラスデ
ック製外管の端部をプラスチックソケットにより彼っで
ある熱絶縁導管のソケット結合部が知られている。この
結合部ではソケットを有する外管の端部とソケットの長
手スリットが相Lfに溶接されている。溶接は外管の端
部とソケットの間に蛇行していて通電時境界を接する面
を溶解する抵抗線によって実施されていて、従って溶接
は加圧の下に実施することができる。この種の溶接には
、たとえば溶接範囲中の過熱によってプラスチックが分
解し、整然とした熔接線にならない危険がある。他面温
度が低すぎても溶接は行なわれない。熔接線の温度に影
響するものとしてはたとえば風、周囲の気温、太陽など
があるこの発明の基本課題は、これらの環境の影響を遮
断し、永久的に固定される熔接線を達成することにある
この課題は次のようにして達成される。即ち通電中抵抗
線の温度を常に測定し、同時に二つの隣接する蛇行巻線
または並列している抵抗線間の中心の温度を測定し、そ
の際抵抗線の温度を限定してプラスデックの分解温度の
直ぐ下の温度である抵抗線の最高温度をこえないように
し、蛇行巻線または抵抗線間の領域の熔融池温度を加熱
能力の基準値として使用するのである。このような構成
によって、ブラスヂ1りの加熱が確実に回避され溶接す
べき面を常に熔接可能な状態にするごとが確実になる。
特に有利なのは熔接温度が少なくとも10秒間にわたっ
てほぼ一定に保たれることである。これは、熔接温度を
30〜180秒間ほぼ一定に保もてば更に確実になる。
抵抗線温度は、電流の強さを最大値から熔接温度に対応
する値まで連続的に引き下げれば加熱能力が変化して好
都合に制御される。実際には加熱能力は極めて速く最大
値に設定され、電流の強さの引き下げ制御によって抵抗
線温度がある時間の間ほぼ一定に保たれる。抵抗線温度
が最大値になった後融解物の温度は電流強度の制御基準
として利用され、その際抵抗線温度は最大値に限定され
る。その場合制御はマイクロプロセッサにより行うのが
好都合である。ポリエチレンの部分の熔接の際は最高抵
抗線温度が280°となり、熔接温度が140〜160
°に定められる。
この発明は更に前記方法を実施するための装置にも関す
るものである。即ち熔接変圧器と、熔接すべき表面の間
に蛇行している抵抗線または並列してある抵抗線とから
成る熔接変圧器から成る装置であって、抵抗線の端部が
熔接変圧器に連結してある。この発明はこのような装置
において、装置中に三箇所の測定位置によって制御され
るマイクロプロセッサを接続してあり、前記測定位置の
内一箇所は抵抗線にまたは複数本の抵抗線にあり他の一
箇所は抵抗線の二つの隣接する巻線の間で熔接箇所の領
域にあり、三箇所の熔接位置は導管を介してマイクロプ
ロセッサに連結してある。
温度の測定にはサーモエレメントを用いるのが有利であ
る。サーモエレメントの一つは抵抗線と伝熱結合、特に
ろうづけまたは熔接してある。選択的にサーモエレメン
トは抵抗線にクランプによって固定することができる。
抵抗線の測定位置とマイクロプロセッサの間には電位的
に分離された測定値増幅器を接続しておくのが有利であ
る。このようにして、マイクロプロセッサが高圧によっ
て損傷するのを阻止した方がよい。特に直径の大きいソ
ケットの場合、たとえば規格幅が200ミリメートル以
上の長距離伝熱導管用の結合ソケットには、いくつかの
サーモエレメントを熔融池中に配設するのが好都合であ
ることが分かった。それらのサーモエレメントは周縁に
一様に分散するのがよい。熔融池温度を測定するサーモ
エレメントは溶融地の外側に固定してある。このように
して圧力とプラスチックの軟化によってサーモエレメン
トの移動が行なわれる。サーモニレメンI・が移動する
と、即し測定位置と抵抗線の間の間隔が変化することに
よって溶融地の正確な温度測定は最早不可能になる。同
じ理由から溶融地のための測定位置を囲む蛇行部は少な
くとも三箇所で、特に蛇行部の領域で溶融地の外側に置
かれた固定要素によって固定される。このようにして確
実に、圧力のために蛇行部まで熔融池中で移動するのが
阻止される。
螺旋状に延在する抵抗線または周方向に並列する抵抗を
使用することによってサーモエレメントを並列する二本
の巻線または抵抗線の間の中心に設ける。
一実施例を示した図について更に詳記する。
第1図に符号I及び2で長距離伝熱導管の端部を示して
ある。これらの端部は図示してない媒体案内鋼管、発泡
物質製熱絶縁体、プラスチックジャケット管から成る。
この種の長距離伝熱導管は実際にはプラスチックジャケ
ット管とされ、約6メートルの長さのものが建設現場に
供給され、そこで連結されてパイプラインにしなければ
ならない。個々の長さのものは、内管が発泡物質の両側
から突出していて、その結果二本の管の容易な相互溶接
が可能である。この溶接結合の二次絶縁のために熔接箇
所にわたってプラスチックソケット3を管またはプラス
チック帯の形にして敷設する。
第1図にはソケット3を示してある。このソケットは一
木のプラスデック帯からできており、このプラスチック
帯は、溶接結合部をプラスチックジャケット管1.2の
端部に載せることによって縁4を相互に重ねて溶接結合
部を中心に巻かれている。
ソケット3は媒体管とソケット3の間の環状スリット中
に満たされる発泡物質成分の型として機能し、同時にパ
ツキンとして湿度の侵入を防ぐ。ソケット3は長距離熱
導管lと2のプラスデック材料にも重ねられたその縁4
の領域でも熔接されている。そのために蛇行形抵抗線1
4を熔接すべき面の間に挿入してある。この抵抗線は導
線5と6を介して熔接変圧器7に連結されている。この
熔接変圧器には電圧源、たとえば電力網から電気が供給
される。即ち溶接変圧?57のスイッチオンの後電流は
抵抗線中を流れ、これにより抵抗線は熱をもち境界を接
する面も同様に加熱し、熔接可能な状態になる。詳記は
してない補助手段により圧力が溶接継目に影響して、永
久的な溶接結合が達成される。熔接工程を制御するため
に三箇所の測定位置8と9を設けである。そのうちの一
つ、たとえば8は抵抗線14の温度を測定し、他の一つ
9は熔融池の温度を測定する。測定位置8と9は導管1
0と11を介してマイクロプロセッサ12に連結されて
おり、マイクロプロセッサは加熱能力を制御する。抵抗
線14の温度は最高値を280℃に設定してあり、他方
熔接温度はポリエチレンの場合140〜160℃にして
ある。
第2図はソケット3の内側表面の平面図である。
ソケット3の熔接すべき縁部要素には溝13をきってあ
り、この溝の中にポリエチレン箔によって固定された抵
抗線14が蛇行敷設してある。測定位置8と9はサーモ
エレメントにより形成され、そのうち測定位置8に属す
るサーモエレメントは抵抗線14にたとえば固定金具1
5によって固定されている。
熔融池温度を測定する測定位置9のサーモエレメントは
二本の蛇行巻線間にある。即ち最低温度が期待できる領
域である。このサーモエレメントはクランプ16によっ
てソケット3に固定されており、これらのクランプ16
は溝■3の外側、即ち熔融池の外側にある。このように
して測定位置9は熔接温度で圧力を利用しても固定され
る。抵抗線14も同様に、ソケット3の溝13の外側に
固定されているクランプ17によって、特に蛇行の湾曲
部の領域に固定されている。この固定は測定位置9と抵
抗線14の間の間隔が熔接温度で圧力の利用の下に一定
に保たれるので好都合である。
第3図には熔接の経過を三本の曲線によって示してある
。曲線Cは加熱能力、Aは抵抗線温度、即ち測定位置8
の値、Bは溶接U目の温度、即ち測定位置9の温度であ
る。横座標には時間を表した。さて熔接変圧器7のスイ
ッチが入ると、加熱能力は最短時間内に最大限になり、
必要に応じて制御される。従って曲線Aの上昇もまずや
はり急である。280℃という最高の抵抗線温度になつ
た後加熱能力は測定位置8の値より高く限定される。曲
線Bの上昇は無論曲線Aの上昇より緩やかである。なん
となれば測定位置9と、境界を接する巻線14との間の
間隔は比較的大きいからである。約150℃という熔接
温度の達成の後加熱能力は制御されて、測定位置9の温
度は約30〜50秒間にわたって一定に保たれる。熔接
工程の終了後マイクロプロセッサ12は熔接変圧器7の
スイッチを切り、溶接継目は次第に冷却する。
実施例は蛇行形状の抵抗線であったが、しかし周方向に
螺旋状に成形された抵抗線を管と管の間の環状間隙に入
れである場合もこの発明は有利に実施できる。周方向に
何本もの抵抗線を並列配置することも可能である。そう
なると熔融池温度を測定するサーモエレメントは並列す
る二本の巻線の間の中心に配設される。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1)熱絶縁された導管のためのソケット結合部を製造す
    る際の熔接工程の制御方法であって、結合箇所を外管端
    部上に載置されたソケットによって被い、プラスチック
    から成るソケットを同じくプラスチックから成る外管の
    端部に熔接し、ソケットと外管の間の各間隙に蛇行形状
    または螺旋形状の一本または複数本の抵抗線を挿入し、
    これらの抵抗線が通電時に相互に熔接すべきソケットと
    外管の表面を熔接可能な状態にし、加圧加温下でそれら
    の表面の熔接を行う、方法において、通電中抵抗線の温
    度を常に測定し、同時に二つの隣接する蛇行巻線または
    並列している抵抗線間の中心の温度を測定し、その際抵
    抗線の温度を限定してプラスチックの分解温度の直ぐ下
    の温度である抵抗線の最高温度をこえないようにし、蛇
    行巻線または抵抗線間の領域の熔融池温度を加熱能力の
    基準値として使用することを特徴とする、方法。 2)熔接温度を少なくとも10秒間ほぼ一定に保つ、特

    抵抗線(14)にまたは複数本の抵抗線にあり、他の一
    箇所は抵抗線(14)の二つの隣接する巻線の間で熔接
    箇所の領域にあり、二箇所の熔接位置(8、9)は導管
    (11、12)を介してマイクロプロセッサ(12)に
    連結してある、装置。 9)測定位置(8、9)にサーモエレメントを配設して
    ある、特許請求の範囲8)に記載の装置。 10)サーモエレメントの一つが抵抗線(14)と伝熱
