Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、結晶性熱可塑性樹脂から成形される接合部品
の組立方法の改良に関する。
更に詳しくは、ポリアセタール樹脂の如き、結晶性熱可
塑性樹脂のァニーリング後の成型収縮率の金型温度によ
る差を利用して、接合部品のはめ合せを強固にする結晶
性樹脂成形部品のアニーリングによる組立方法である。
周知の如く、熔融した結晶性熱可塑性樹脂を成形固化す
ると、体積減少を生じ収縮する。
これは、無定形の熔融状態から固化が進むにつれて、結
晶化度が増加することによる。この成形品の後収縮を、
結晶性樹脂の代表的な樹脂であるポリアセタールコポリ
マーを例にとり説明する。このポリアセタールコポリマ
ーは、高い機械的強さを有し、すぐれた耐クリープ性、
耐疲労性、耐摩耗性、耐熱性、耐薬品性、すぐれた寸法
安定性などをバランスよく備えた成形部品性の良いエン
ジニアリングプラスチックである。このポリアセタール
樹脂は、結晶化度の高い結晶性プラスチックであるので
、成形収縮率が大きい。この成形収縮率は成形条件、成
形品の形状及びアニーリングの温度に影響を受ける。
一例として、ポリアセタールコポリマーの金型温度によ
る収縮率を示す。成形品の厚みを5柳、成型後のアニー
リングを150q02餌時間行なうとする時、金型温度
30COで成形品の収縮率は0.70%であるが、金型
温度80ooでは成形収縮率は0.41%で、金型温度
により収縮率に相当の差を生じる。本発明はこの点に着
目し、ポリアセタール樹脂の如き結晶性熱可塑性樹脂か
ら成型され、内側の接合部、例えば凹状接合部を有する
外枠の部品の金型温度を、この薮合部はめ合せる対応す
る接合部、例えば凸状接合部を有する内側のはめ合せ部
品の金型温度よりも低くすることにより、外枠の部品の
ァニーリング後の収縮を、内側の部品の収縮よりも大と
なし、はめ合せされた内側部品の接合部の脱落を防止し
得ることを見出し、本発明に到ったものである。
即ち、本発明は結晶性樹脂から成型され、内側の接合部
を有する外枠の部品と、この接合部にはめ合せる対応す
る接合部を有する内側の接合部品とを、外枠の部品の金
型温度を内側のはめ合せ部品の金型温度より低くして各
々成形し、両者をはめ合せた後、アニーリングすること
を特徴とする結晶性樹脂成形部品の組立方法を提供する
ものである。
外枠の部品の内側の接合部とこれと対応する内側の部品
の接合部の形状は、上記の如く前者が凹状で後者が凸状
であっても、又逆に、外枠部品の接合部が凸状で内側の
部品の接合部が凹状であってもよい。
本発明の実施に当っては、例えば外側の接合部品を成形
する低温金型の成型温度は50qo以下となし、これに
、はめ合せる内側の接合部品を成形する高温金型の温度
ごを503○以上とすれば、ポリアセタール樹脂の場合
、例えば150qo、20寺間アニーリング処理後の成
形収縮率の差は、成形品厚みによるが0.3%程度に達
する。
従って、各々成形後はめ合せた、二つの接合部品をアニ
ーリングすれば、外枠の接合部品が、それだけより多く
収縮し、これによりはめ合せがより密になって、脱落が
防止され得る。
以下図面について本発明の実施例を説明する。
第1図Aは外側の枠体1、第1図Bはこれに対してはめ
こまれるフラップ3を示し、2は枠体1の内周面に向い
合わせに設けた二つの凹部、4はこれに対応するフラッ
プ3の両側面に設けた二つの凸状の突起である。これら
の接合部品を単に従来の如くスナップフィット法ではめ
込む様にすると、第1図Cの如く枠体1とフラップ3と
の間の隙間△Lが大きくなり、従って凹部2に対する凸
状突起4の係合も僅かで、フラップ3は使用中枠体1よ
り脱落し易い。これに対して本発明の方法を適用して枠
体1の収縮を大にすると、第1図に示すように△いま△
らより遥かに小さくなり、凹部2と凸状突起4間の係合
も充分になり、脱落する恐れがなくなる。又第2図Aは
凸状接合部5を内側にもつ枠体1を示し、第2図Bはこ
れに対応する凹部6をもつ内側のフラップ3を示し、第
1図の場合と接合部の形状が凹凸逆の例である。従って
本発明の方法は、極めて広い応用分野を有することは明
らかであり、上記の例に限定されるものではない。

    枠の部品と、この接合部にはめ合わせる対応する接合部
    を有する内側の接合部品とを、外枠の部品の金型温度を
    内側のはめ合せ部品の金型温度より低くして各々成形し
    、両者をはめ合せした後、アニーリングするこを特徴と
    する、結晶性樹脂成形部品の組立方法。
