Description

결정성(結晶性)수지 성형부품의 조립방법
제1(a)도~제1(d)도는 발명에 의한 조립 접합부품의 1 실시예의 평면도.
제2(a)도~제2(b)도는 타실시예의 평면도.
본 발명은 결정성 열가소성수지로 성형되는 접합부품의 조립방법의 개량에 관한 것이다. 더 상세히 설명하면 폴리아세탈 수지와 같은 결정성 열가소성 수지의 어니일링 후의 성형 수축율의 금형온도에 의한 차를 이용하여 접합부품의 결합을 견고히 하는 결정성수지 성형부품의 어니일링에 의한 조립방법이다.
주지하는 바와같이 용융시킨 결정성 열가소성수지를 성형고화시키면 체적감소가 생겨 수축한다. 이것은 무정형(無定形)의 용융상태에서 고화가 진행함에 따라서 결정화도(結定化度)가 증가하기 때문이다.
이 성형품의 후(後)수축을 결정성 수지의 대표적인 수지인 폴리아세탈 공중합체를 예를들어 설명한다. 이 폴리아세탈 공중합체는 높은 기계적 강도를 지녔으며, 우수한 내크리이프(Creep)성, 내피로성, 내마모성, 내열성, 내약품성, 우수한 칫수 안정성등을 균형있게 갖춘 성형 가공성이 양호한 엔지니어링 플래스틱이다. 이 폴리아세탈 수지는 결정화도가 높은 결정성 플래스틱이기 때문에 성형수축율이 크다.
이 성형수축율은 성형조건, 성형품의 형상 및 어니일링의 온도에 영향을 받는다. 1예로서 폴리아세탈 공중합체의 금형온도에 의한 수축율을 표시한다. 성형품의 두께를 5mm, 성형후의 어니일링을 150℃에서 20시간 행할때 금형온도 30℃에서 성형품의 수축율은 0.70% 이지만 금형온도 80℃에서는 성형수축율은 0.41%로, 금형온도에 따라 수축율에 상당한 차가 생긴다.
본 발명은 이점에 착안하여 폴리아세탈 수지와 같은 결정성 열가소성 수지로 성형되고 내측 접합부 예를 들면 요상(凹狀) 접합부를 가진 외를 부품의 금형온도를 이 접합부에 끼워 맞추는 대응되는 접합부, 예를들면 (凸狀) 접합부를 가진 내측 결합부품의 금형온도 보다도 낮게하므로서 외틀부품의 어니일링 후의 수축을, 내측부품의 수축 보다도 크게하여 끼워맞춰진 내측부품의 접합부의탈락을 방지할 수 있다는 것을 발견하여 본 발명에 도달한 것이다.
즉 본발명은 결정성수지로 성형되어 내측의 접합부를 가진 외틀부품과 이접합부에 끼워맞추는 대응되는 접합부를 가진 내측의 접합부품을, 외틀부품의 금형온도를 내측에 끼워맞추는 부품의 금형온도보다 낮게하여 각각 성형하여 양자를 끼워맞춘후 어니일링하는 것을 특징으로 하는 결정성수지 성형부품의 조립방법을 제공하는 것이다.
외틀부품의 내측 접합부와 이것과 대응되는 내측부품의 접합부의 형상은 상기와 같이 전자가 요상이고 후자가 철상이라도, 또는 반대로 외틀부품의 접합부가 철상이고 내측부품의 접합부가 요상이라도 좋다.
본 발명의 실시예에 있어서는 예를들명 외측의 접합부품을 성형하는 저온금형의 성형온도는 50℃이하로 하고 이것에 끼워맞추는 내측의 접합부품을 성형하는 고온금형의 온도를 50℃ 이상으로 한다면 폴리아세탈 수지의 경우 예를들면 150℃에서 20시간 어니일링 처리후의 성형수축율의 차는 성형품두께에따르지만 0.3%정도에 달한다.
따라서 각각 성형후 끼워맞춘 2개의 접합부품을 어니일링하면 외틀의 접합부품이 그만큼 보다 많이 수축되고, 이에따라 결합이 보다 밀접해져서 탈락이 방지될 수 있다.
다음에 도면에 따라 본 발명의 실시예를 설명한다.
제1(a)도는 외측틀체(1), 제1(b)도는 이에 대하여 끼워넣는 플랩(flap)(3)을 표시하며, (2)는 플체(1)의 내주면에 마주보게 설치한 2개의 요부, (4) 는 이에 대응하는 플랩(3)의 양측면에 설치한 2개의 철상의 돌기이다. 이들의 접합부품을 단순히 종래와 같이 스냅피트(snap fit)법으로 끼워넣도록 하면 제1(c)도와 같이 틀체(1)와 플랩(3)사이의 극간Δt1보다 훨씬 작아지고 요부(凹部)(2)와 철상돌기(4)의 결합도 근소하여 플랩(3)은 사용중 틀체(1)에서 탈락하기 쉽다.
이에 대하여 본 발명의 방법을 적용하여 틀체(1)의 수축을 크게하면 제1(d)에 표시한 바와같이 Δt1보다 훨씬 작아지고 요부(凹部)(2)와 철상돌기(4)간의 결합도 충분해져서 탈락할 염려가 없게된다.
또 제2(a)도는 철상접합부(5)를 내측에 가진 틀체(1)를 표시하며 제2(b)는 이에 대응하는 요부(6)도가진 내측의 플랩(3)을 표시하며, 제1도의 경우와 접합부의 형상이 요철이 반대로 된 예이다.
따라서 본 발명의 방법은 극히 넓은 응용 분야를 가지는 것은 명백하며 상기예에 한정되는 것은 아니다.

Claims (1)

  1. 결정성수지로 성형되고, 내측의 접합부를 가진 외틀부품과, 이 접합부에 끼워맞추는 대응하는 접합부를 가진 내측의 접합부품을, 외틀부품의 금형온도를 내측의 끼워맞추는 부품의 금형온도 보다도 낮게 하여서 각각 성형하여 양자를 끼워맞춘후 어니일링 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 결정성 수지 성형부품의 조립방법.
