    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 径が小さくなった頚部を有する回転体状の燃焼室をピス
    トン頂部またはシリンダー・ヘッドに備えていて、該燃
    焼室が、圧縮行程の終りごろ、燃焼室の縦軸のまわりで
    旋回する燃焼用空気をほとんど全部収容するようにされ
    た内燃機関において、前記燃焼室の容積をv1燃焼室の
    深さをTとした場合に、V/Tの比が20.00C1f
    tから22.29cJの間にあり、燃焼室頚部2の直径
    dが最大燃焼室深IDの0.839から0.911倍ま
    でであり、前記燃焼室頚部の深さtが0.036から0
    .125Dまでであり、ピストン頂部6から測定した最
    大燃焼室深さTが0.732から0.839Dまでであ
    り、燃焼室壁3の傾きを形成する半径の長さRが0.8
    75Dから0.929Dまでであり、該半径の中心点7
    は、燃焼室の縦軸Xからの距離Bが0.375Dから0
    .446Dまででありピストン頂部6から測つた深さC
    が0.375Dから0.464Dまでである同上に位置
    しており、燃焼室壁3から燃焼室の底4にいたる移行領
    域5を形成する半径の長さrが、0、321Dから0.
    446Dまでであって、該半径の中心点8は、燃焼室縦
    軸Xからの距離すが0.054Dと0.179Dの間に
    あり、燃焼室の底4からの距離Cが0.321Dと0゜
    446Dの間にある円上に位置していることを特徴とす
    る内燃機関。
