    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. シリンダ、シリンダヘッドおよびピストンにより画成さ
    れたクリアランス燃焼室と、前記ピストンの頂部に設け
    られたピストン燃焼室と、シリンダヘッドに設けられ前
    記ピストン燃焼室に臨む燃料噴射ノズルとを有するディ
    ーゼル機関の燃焼室・　において、前記シリンダヘッド
    の燃料噴射ノズル周辺に前記クリアランス燃焼室に開口
    する空気室を設けたことを特徴とするディーゼル機関の
    燃焼室。
