は他の実施例の平面図、第６図は第５図のＣ−Ｃ線断面
図である。 １・・・・・・ピストン、２・・・・・・キャビティ燃
焼室、３・・・・・・燃料噴射弁、４・・・・・・窪み
部、５，６・・・・・・リップ。

Claims (1)
- ピストン頂部に穿設した略円柱状のキャビティ燃焼室と
、シリンダヘッドに設けて上記キャビテ・ｒ燃焼室に臨
まぜた多噴孔の燃料噴射弁とを備えた直噴式ディーゼル
機関に於いて、上記キャビティ燃焼室に対し上記燃料噴
射弁が偏心して設けられ、噴霧長の短い噴霧については
、噴霧軸線が上記キャビティ燃焼室に到達する部分に、
その到達長を拡大する窪み部分を形成し、しかも該窪み
部の上方には、この窪み部を設けたことによるピストン
頂面のスキッシュ領域幅の減少を補償するためのリップ
を設けたことを特徴とする直噴式ディーゼル機関の燃焼
室。
