Claims (8)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）ハウジングに装着されるハウジング側部材と、軸
    に装着される軸側部材との２つの部材を有し、軸に直交
    する平面上で両部材を互に摺接させることによりハウジ
    ングと軸との間を相対回転可能に密封する密封装置であ
    って、その一方の部材が、軸又はハウジングに密嵌する
    円筒部と、該円筒部からハウジングと軸との間の空間内
    に延出し、その先端を軸方向に弾性的に変形可能に形成
    した封止部とを備え、他方の部材がハウジング又は軸に
    密嵌する円筒部と、該円、筒部から前記空間内に延出す
    る鍔部とを備えており、前記封止部を前記鍔部に摺接さ
    せることによりハウジングと軸との間を密封すると共に
    、両部材が径方向に対向する適所において両部材のいず
    れか一方または双方に、両部材を軸方向に相対移動させ
    るとき径方向に弾性変形させられて互に嵌着しそして離
    脱する弾性突起を形成したことを特徴とする密封装置。
  2. （２）前記突起を、前記両部材が径方向に最も近接する
    対向位置に設けた実用新案登録請求の範囲（１）記載の
    密封装置。
  3. （３）前記突起を、それが設けられる部材に一体に成形
    した円周方向の弾性突条とした実用新案登録請求の範囲
    （１）又は（２）記載の密封装置。
  4. （４）　　ハウジング側部材を、ハウジングに密嵌する
    外側円筒部と、該円筒部から半径方向内方に延出する鍔
    部とからなる断面り字形の環状部材に形成し、軸側部材
    を、８軸に密嵌する内側円筒部と、該円筒部から前記空
    間内に延出し先端をリップ状に形成した弾性材料からな
    る環状封止部とにより形成し、環状封止部先端のリップ
    状部分を、ハウジング側部材の鍔部の内側平面部に弾接
    させるように構成し、さなに少なくともハウジング側部
    材の鍔部内周面に径方向に対向する軸側部材の円筒部外
    周面に前記弾性突起を形成して、前記封止部先端のリッ
    プ状部分が鍔部の内側平面部に適正接触圧をもって摺接
    しているとき、前記弾性突起がその対向部分に対し非接
    触であり、かつ該弾性突起と前記封止部との間に、前記
    鍔部の内周端部又は該内周部に設けた突起部が位置する
    ようにしたことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲（
    １）から（３）までのいずれか１つに記載の密封装置。
  5. （５）　　前記弾性突起を、ハウジング側部材の鍔部内
    周面と、軸側部材の円周部外周面との双方に設け、鍔部
    の外側平面部と、軸側部材の円筒部の外端面とを、ハウ
    ジング側部材と軸側部材とを軸方向に相対移動させて同
    一平面内に位置させるとき、前記両弾性突起が弾性変形
    による嵌着状態から離脱状態に移行する如く、鍔部側弾
    性突起の軸方向幅をＡ１軸側部材の弾性突起の軸方向幅
    をＢ１鍔部の軸方向幅をＣとして、（Ｃ−Ａ）＞Ａとな
    し、かつＡ＞Ｂとなるように形成した実用新案登録請求
    の範囲（４）記載の密封装置。
  6. （６）前記両弾性突起が嵌着状態にあるときのハウジン
    グ側部材の鍔部外側面と、軸側部材円筒部の外側端面と
    の軸方向のすれ幅を、封止部のリップ状部分を鍔部の内
    側平面部に摺接さする際の最適たわみ量に一致させた実
    用新案登録請求の範囲（５）記載の密封装置。
  7. （７）ハウジング側部材が、ハウジングに密嵌スる外側
    円筒部を備えた殻体と、該殻体に保持されてばねにより
    軸方向に付勢されたシールリングを有する封止部とから
    なり、軸側部材が、軸に密嵌する内側円筒部と、該円筒
    部から半径方向外方に延出する鍔部とを有し、前記シー
    ルリングを鍔部の内側平面部に弾性的に摺接させると共
    に、前記殻体の内周面と、軸側部材円筒部外周面との対
    向位置のいずれか一方又は双方に前記弾性突起を形成し
    た実用新案登録請求の範囲（１）から（３）までのいず
    れか１つに記載の密封装置。
  8. （８）前記殻体に、外周面で前記ばねおよびシールリン
    グを案内するスリーブ部分を案内するスリーブ部分を形
    成し、該スリーブ部分と、軸側部材円筒部とが対向する
    該円筒部の外周面に、前記スリーブ部分に対する弾性突
    起を形成した実用新案登録請求の範囲（７）記載の密封
    装置。
