Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （１）発明の技術分野 本発明は、トナー（粉体現像剤）を使用する電子写真プ
リンタ等のトナー補給方法に関し、特にトナーカートリ
ッジを用いて現像機内にトナーを補給する方法に関する
。
（２）従来技術と問題点 従来、トナーカートリッジによりトナーを補給後、空に
なったカートリッジをそのままの状態で現像機から抜き
取っていだが、抜き取る際にカートリッジに付着したト
ナーが装置周辺に飛散するとともに、オペレータの手を
汚すという欠点がある０ （３）発明の目的 本発明は、トナーの補給をカートリッジを用いて行なう
方法において、カートリッジの堆扱い時トナーが装置周
辺に飛散するのを防止するとともに、オペレータの手を
汚さず簡単に操作できるようにすることを目的とする。
（４）発明の構成 ぞしてこの目的は本発明によれば、カー）　１）ツノを
用いて現像に内にトナーを補給する方法において、トナ
ー補給終了後の空のカートリノンを現像機から抜き■る
際に該現像機のカートリッジ挿入口に袋を装７１’ｊ’
　Ｌ／　、該袋内に該カートリッジを収納しながら抜き
取るようにしたことを特徴とするトナー補給方法を提供
することによって達成される０ （５）発明の実施例 以下本発明の一実施を図面に従って詳述する。
第１図はトナーカートリッジを現像抄本体に装着１．＋
時の状態を示し、１は現像機本体、２はトナー供給ロー
ル、３はトナーカートリッジ、４けカートリッジ３を保
持するガイド板、５＋ａトナー、６はカートリッジ３に
設けらｈているトナー話下用の開口部を示す。
トナーの補給は、ｌ−カー５の残１月が少なくなりトナ
ー残量センザー（１ンｌ示ぜず）がイφ１１いた時に空
になったカートリッジ３を抜き取り、新らしいカートリ
ッジと交換Ｉ７て行う。
尚カートリッジ３の抜取シ及び新カートリッジの装９＋
ｆ時は、カートリッジ内のトナーをとぼさないためにカ
ートリッジ３を第１図の状態から１８０＠回転させ開［
コ部６を上方位置にして操作する。７゜８．９はこのカ
ートリッジ（ｆｉＱ作のためのガイド、ストッパ、カー
トリッジ側に設けたつめを示す。
第２ν１はカー）　ＩＪノジ抜取り時の詳細図で、１０
は現像機１のカートリッジ挿入口、１１は挿入口に成句
けたフランジ、１２は図のように二重に折り込んだ袋１
３をひも１４で固定するリングを示す０ 第３図は袋１３を成形するときの詳Ｒ１１１図で１５１
寸パイプ、ｌｉ、ｔバイブ保持金共を示す。
二重に折り込んだ袋１３を成形するために、まず袋先姑
をり／グ１２に通してひも１４で固定し、リング１２を
パイプ１５に通してリング１２先端をパイプ保す、１金
具１６の端面に突き当てる。
次に袋１３の底部を矢印方向に手で押し込みパイプ１５
を包み込むことにより二重袋が成形される０ カー）・リッジ抜取り時にに第２図に肉＼すように、ま
ずカートリッジ３の開口部６を上方位置に向け、前記金
具にて　止に折シ込んだ袋１３を取付けたリング１２を
フランジ１１に装着し、袋１３の外側からカートリクジ
を引き抜き、第４図の如く袋１３内にカートリ・フジ３
′ｆ：収納する。
尚、ぷｉ１３をリング１２にひも１４で固定する際に袋
１３の先端部に余裕をもたすことに、ｔって、第４図の
ようにカー）　ＩＪッジ３を収納後袋３の口をひも等で
くくり付けた後も、貸先端部にトナー付着がないためト
ナーを飛散さすことがない。
（６）発明の効果 本発明によるとトナーカートリッジの取扱い時特にカー
トリッジの抜き取り１１４にトナーが装置周辺に飛散す
ることなく、又オペ［／−夕の十を汚さずに簡単に操作
できる効果がある。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　　カートリッジを用いて現像上ψ内にトナーを
    補給する方法において、トナー補給終了後の空のカート
    リッジを現像機から抜き取る際に該現像機のカートリ７
    ジ挿入口に袋を装着し、該袋内に該カートリッジを収納
    しながら抜き取るようにしたことを特徴とするトナー補
    給方法。
  2. （２）前記袋を二重に折り込んで前記カートリッジ挿入
    口に装着するようにしたことを特徴とする特許請求の範
    囲第１項Ｒ己載のトナー補給方法。
