Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of a toner when a toner cartridge is drawn out to the outside by so forming the cartridge that it is put in a bag when it is drawn to the outside. CONSTITUTION:There is a thin seal-to-open port on the bottom surface F of a toner cartridge 1, and a knob 2 is provided to one end part thereof. The cartridge 1 is put in a soft bag 6 of vinyl resin or the like of the size by which the entire part thereof is contained therein, and the opening part of the bag 6 is fit up by means of a rubber band 7 to the inlet 3a of a toner supply port 3 of an electrophotographic copier, after which the user inserts the cartridge 1 into the port 3 by holding the knob 2. The seal-to-open port of the cartridge 1 is torn by a blade 5 provided to a guide rod 4 and the toner is supplied into the developing chamber. To draw out the cartridge 1, the knob 2 is drawn out with the finger tips from the outer side of the bag 6 and the cartridge is removed together with the bag and is discharged.
