Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat resistant cast alloy excellent in creep rupture strength and oxidation resistance as compared to HP40 or the like by limiting an Mn amount in the heat resistant cast alloy HP40 and adding W, Nb thereto.
CONSTITUTION: Said heat resistant cast alloy comprises, in the % basis, 0.35W 0.6 C, 0.5W2.0 Si, 0.3W0.9 Mn, 24W30 Cr, 30W40 Ni, 3W6 W, 0.1W0.5 Nb, 0.4 or less P, 0.04 or less S and the remainder Fe substantially. Herein, when Mn exceeds the upper limit, deterioration of oxidation resistance at about 1,100°C is induced. W is effective in increasing high temp. strength and, when exceeds the lower limit, creep rupture strength is remarkably increased and, even if exceeds the upper limit, said creep rupture strength is increased but a material itself is hardened and reduction of ductility in a low temp. range is induced. Ni enhances creep rupture strength and, as an amount thereof is increased at the lower limit or more, effect thereof is increased but, because oxidation resistance is extremely inhibited at a temp. exceeding about 1,100°C in combination with W, the amount thereof is defined to the upper limit or less.
