Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a heat resistant austenitic cast alloy with superior high temp. oxidation resistance usable as a heat resistant material for a furnace and having a specified composition consisting of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Fe, Ti and Ni.
CONSTITUTION: This austenitic cast alloy consists of, by wt., 0.2W0.6% C, 0.2W 1.3% Si, <1.3% Mn, 25W35% Cr, 5W15% Fe, 0.02W0.3% Ti, >50% Ni and the balance impurities. To the composition may be added <5% W.
