Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a heat resistant case steel having good casting property, anti- heat check property, high temperature tensile strength, creep rupture strength, deformation resistance and oxidation resistance by adding specific elements to Ni- Cr based heat resistant steel.
CONSTITUTION: A heat resistant alloy steel contains C: 0.2W0.6%, Si: 0.3W2.0%, Mn: 0.3W2.5%, Cr: 15W35%, Ni: 20W40%, N: 0.05W2.0%, Nb: 0.3W2.0%, Co: 2W10%, or further W: 0.6W3.0%. Or, the alloy steel may contain C: 0.3W 0.5%, Si: 0.5W1.5%, Mn: 0.5W1.5%, Cr: 20W30%, Ni: 25W35%, N: 0.1W 0.25%, Nb: 0.5W1.5%, Co: 3W8%, or further W: 1W2%. This heat resistant cast steel has high tensile sterngth, creep rupture strength, deformation strength, and oxidation resistance at temperature of 800°C or higher, and its anti-heat check property and castability are excellent.
