Abstract
PURPOSE: To considerably decrease the COD and chromaticity components in org. waste liquid by adding an oxidizer and a metallic ion dissociating material to the outflow slurry from a biological treatment process for said waste liquid then adding an alkali and subjecting the waste liquid to dehydration treatment.
CONSTITUTION: Raw night soil 1 in an undiluted state is flowed into a bilogical treatment device 2 such as bilogical nitrif and denitrifying process or the like. The mixed slurry of the outflow slurry 6 from the device 2 and concd. separating water 5 flows into a chemical oxidation tank 7-1, where it is added with a chemical 12, and is stirred for a prescribed time. As the chemical 12, ferrous sulfate as iron salt and hydrogen peroxide as an oxidizer are suitable. The mixed slurry from the tank 7-1 enters an alkali agent adding tank 7-2, where it is added with an alkali agent 13 such as magnesium hydroxide, and is controlled to ≥4pH, after which it is separated to dehydrated cake 9 and dehydrated separating water 10 by a mechanical dehydrator 8 such as filter press.
