Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent overlapping of various colors by first forming a black pat latent image from a multicolor original, transferring the same to a self-adhesive transfer material, and successively transferring the toner images of other colors on the same self-adhesive transfer material after cleaning a photoreceptor then transferring these images on copying paper. CONSTITUTION:After a photoreceptor P having a photoconductive layer 12 on a substrate 11 is charged, an original having a white part 14, a red part 15, a green part 16, a blue part 17 and a black part 18 is exposed thereto. The part 18 is developed with a black toner 19, and the image 19 is transferred onto a self-adhesive transfer material T. The image 19 is heated to soften 5 by a heater 20 to an image 19' so that the image 19' is prevented from disturbing in the next process. The residual toner is removed, again the photoreceptor is charged, the original is exposed thereto through a yellow filter YF, and the part 17 and the part 18 are developed by a blue toner 21, thence the image 21 is transferred to the foregoing material T and is fixed by softening. At this time, the toner 21 does not stick to the image 19'. Thence, the part 16, and the part 15 are transferred to the material T in a like manner, after which the multicolor images of the material T are transferred by heating to copying paper S.
