Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a transformer by forming coil pair for dividing a current to an ON-load voltage regulator when the regulator is provided at the transformer, reversely winding the coils by 1/2, thereby producing a leakage impedance between the coils without production of a voltage and eliminating an auxiliary transformer. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil 4 and secondary coils 7, 8 for shunting a current in a switching capacity range of a changeover switch are wound on the outer periphery of an iron body 1 of a transformer. An exciting coil 6, current shunting coils 13-16 and tapped coils 11, 12 disposed outside the coil 6 are wound on the core 3 of the regulator connected to the transformer. Thus, the coils 7, 13, 14, 11 are connected in series with each other, and the coils 8, 15, 16, 12 are connected in series with each other in two-row structure. In this structure, the coils 13-16 are wound in the same number of turns in such a manner that the coils 13, 14 and 14, 16 are respectively wound in reverse direction. In this manner, leakage impednace due to electromagnetic coupling is produced between the coils 13 through 16 so as not to produce voltages between the terminals of the coils.
