Abstract

851,814. Transformers and inductors. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Feb. 11, 1957 [Feb. 11, 1956], No. 4342/56. Class 38 (2). A transformer or inductor comprises an integral core of ferromagnetic ferrite material provided with two spaced apertures through which the winding or each winding is threaded. As shown primary and secondary windings 4, 5 are threaded through apertures 2 and 3, in a ferrite core 1 so as substantially to fill the apertures. In another embodiment a winding is tapped and used as an auto transformer. Dimensions are specified.
