Abstract

1384950 Transformers COMMERZSTAHL HANDELS GmbH 28 April 1972. [5 May 1971 20 April 1972] 19869/72 Heading H1T A transformer comprises a laminated, threelegged core whose outer legs 21, 23 are of square cross-section and bear primary windings 24a, 24b, and whose inner leg has a cross-section whose area is less than the sum of the two outer legs and carries a secondary winding 25. As shown in Fig. 4 the windings may be disposed in coil formers 46, 47 whose flanges 53 are provided with terminals 49. Core laminations may be secured by projections 55. The arrangement may be potted (Fig. 5, not shown).
