Abstract

808,030. Transformers. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO. Ltd. July 11, 1957 [Aug. 10, 1956], No. 24569/56. Class 38 (2). A current transformer has a magnetic core formed from L-shaped laminations which has one limb wherein the front and back laminations are of reduced width over a length l to provide a cruciform cross-section. A primary or secondary winding 2 is wound in the length l which is only a small part of the total length L of the limb. Other windings 3 are provided.
