PURPOSE:To improve the liquid leakage resistance of an alkaline battery by providing the sealing part of the battery with a sealing agent consisting of a fatty acid system polyamide amine layer touching the negative sealing plate, and a chlorosulfonated polyethylene layer touching the gasket.
