Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the strength of close adhesion of a negative electrode sealing plate to an insulation sealing packing and prevent a leak of electrolyte, by specifically forming the surface of the negative electrode sealing plate, contacted to the insulation sealing packing, to a coarse face and filling a sealing agent to between the both of said plate and packing. CONSTITUTION:In a cell case 6 combined for use as a positive electrode terminal, a positive electrode active material 5, separator 4, impregnation material 3 and electrode active material 2 are contained, enclosed and sealed with a metallic sealing plate 1 for combined use as a negative electrode terminal by interposing an insulation sealing packing 7 to form an alkaline cell of button type. At this time, sealing part surfaces of the metallic sealing plate 1 adapted to the insulation packing 7 are formed in a rough face, and between the both of said plate and packing an adhesive sealing agent, for instance, polyamide, polybutene, asphalt, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, etc. is interposed. Then roughness of the surface is arranged in such a manner that center line average roughness is within a range of 0.5-10mum.
