Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase bending strength and to keep airtightness by specifying the roughness of upper and lower metallic terminal plates. CONSTITUTION:In a flat type battery manufactured by bonding the peripheries of upper and lower metallic terminal plates 4, 5 via an adhesive resin 6, the roughness of the terminal plates 4, 5 is specified to 10mum or less. The recess depth on the surfaces of the terminal plates 4, 5 is adequately limited and the recesses are filled with the adhesive resin 6. Bonding sealing having good airtightness can be obtained.
