Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve processability in online debugging, by generating the trace interrupt for every one instruction of the program to be debugged to facilitate multiple running of the program to be debugged.
CONSTITUTION: Data from the main memory and data transmitted from the data bus are selectively input by instruction execution control part 6, and execution of instructions is controlled on a basis of these data. The trace interrupt circuit consisting of FF11, logical operation circuits 10, 13, and OR circuit 14 is provided between control part 6 and program status word register 7. When the trace bit exists in the status word indicating the running state of the program, instruction execution of the program is stored in FF11, and AND between the set output and the trace indication bit is operated, and this value is stored in a specific bit of register 7 additionally, and the trace interrupt signal is generated for every one instruction of the program by OR between this specific bit and the AND.
