Abstract

CONSTITUTION: To each input line 104-0W104-7 of the keyboard matrix 106 is connected the register 104 which has been connected corresponding to each bit, and also the driver 105 is provided corresponding to each output line 105-0W105-7 of the matrix 106. A significant data is written to all the bits of this register 104 from the microprocessor 100, so that the key switch status of the matrix 106 can be detected by the processor 100 by reading the output of the matrix 106 through the driver 105 at prescribed intervals. And, when a significant bit which is being output has been detected, a data which has made only 1 bit significant is written to the register 104 in order by changing a significant bit position, the key operating position is discriminated by executing this operation repeatedly, and the burden of the software is reduced.
