Abstract

PURPOSE: To almost eliminate charge on the lower side of a substrate even in repeated uses mounted on a photoreceptor conveyer, by using the substrate with the lower side of a resin layer consisting mainly of polyethylene and laminating a photoconductive photosensitive layer on its upper side.
CONSTITUTION: Conductive layer 13, such as aluminum foil is formed on the upper side of base material 11A like paper with adhesive layer 12 between, and on the lower side, resin layer 14 consisting mainly of polyethylene is formed to make substrate 15, and photoconductive photosensitive layer 17 is laminated on conductive layer 13 with interlayer 16 between to make an electrophotographic receptor. Resin layer 14 is formed in a thickness of about 70μ or less, and as polyethylene for constituting this layer, high density polyethylene of 30000 to 100000 molecular weight is preferable. When ethylene copolymer or mixed resins containing other resin are used for this purpose, a resin containing 60% or more polyethylene component is used.
