Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the electrophotographic photoreceptor of superior gradation reproducibility by laminating and forming a charge generating layer and a charge migrating layer on the electrode layer of palladium (chromium oxide, indium oxide) provided with a layer of dot form fine structure composed of insulation type organic resin material.
CONSTITUTION: A palladium (chromium oxide, indium oxide) layer is formed on a substrate such as polyester film and a screen made of metal (preferably about 100 to 500 mesh) is contacted, after which a resin solution of phenolic resin, polyester resin or other is coated, whereby the insulation type resin layer of about 0.5 to 5μ in thickness composed of dot form fine structure is formed. Next, a charge generating layer composed of pigments shown by formula I and a charge migrating layer composed of compound shown by formula II are subsequently laminated to form the photoreceptor.
