ンジン61の駆動力合流ポイント53までのエンジン6
1からの駆動力伝達系統に、遠心クラッチ62と、変速
機48と、ワンウェイクラッチ65とを、配置してハイ
ブリッド車1の駆動力伝達装置60を構成した。 【効果】 発電電動機をモータにすることでエンジンと
発電電動機とで車両を前進させること、発電電動機を発
電機にすることでエンジンで発電しながらバッテリを充
電させること、エンジンを切って発電電動機のみで車両
を前進又はバックさせることが可能となり、発電電動機
を駆動源として車両をバックさせることができ、エンジ
ンを駆動源として発電電動機を介してバッテリ充電が実

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明はハイブリッド車の駆
動力伝達装置の改良に関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】ハイブリッド車の動力装置として、例え
特開平4−218430号公報「車両特に路面車両のた
めの混成推進装置」が知られている。この技術は、同公
報の第1図に示される通り、内燃機関10と電動機20
とを備え、この内燃機関10によって発生させた駆動力
をベルト25及びクラッチ14を介して軸16に伝達
し、この軸16から大歯車17、18及び軸19を介し
て車両車輪26に伝達し、一方、電動機20によって発
生させた駆動力をワンウェイクラッチである自在輪24
を介して軸16に伝達して内燃機関10をアシストする
ものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、上記技術で
は、電動機20の駆動力を自在輪24(ワンウェイクラ
ッチ)を介して軸16に伝達するので、内燃機関10側
の駆動力を電動機10側に伝達することはできない。従
って、電動機10を発電機として利用することができ
ず、この電動機10によってバッテリに充電することは
できない。また、電動機20で車両車輪26を逆回転さ
せ車両をバックさせることもできない。
【0004】そこで、本発明の目的は、発電電動機を駆
動源として車両をバックさせることができ、エンジンを
駆動源として発電電動機を介してバッテリ充電が可能な
ハイブリッド車の駆動力装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、請求項1は、エンジンと発電電動機を駆動源とする
ハイブリッド車において、発電電動機とエンジンの駆動
力合流ポイントまでのエンジンからの駆動力伝達系統
に、遠心クラッチと、変速機と、ワンウェイクラッチと
を、配置してハイブリッド車の駆動力伝達装置を構成し
た。

ンと発電電動機とで車両を前進させる。発電電動機を発
電機にすることで、エンジンによりモータで発電しなが
らバッテリを充電させる。必要により、エンジンを切っ

【発明の実施の形態】本発明の実施の形態を添付図面に
基づいて以下に説明する。なお、図面は符号の向きに見
るものとする。図1は本発明に係るハイブリッド車の側
面図をである。ハイブリッド車1は、車体フレーム2
と、この車体フレーム2に取付けたボディ3と、このボ
ディ3の中央部前方から上方に延ばしたフロントカバー
4と、ボディ3の中央部後方から上方に延ばしたセンタ
ピラー5と、このセンタピラー5の先端からフロントカ
バー4を繋ぐ透明ルーフ6と、センタピラー5の両サイ
ドに取り付けたサイドプロテクタ7,7(奥の7は不図
示)と、ボディ3の前面に設けたフロントバンバ8と、
このフロントバンパ8の直後に設けたラジエータグリル
9と、ボディ3の中央内部に取付けた運転席11と、ボ
ディ3の後方に設けたリヤバンパ12と、車体フレーム
2に取付けた前輪13,13(奥の13は不図示)と、
車体フレーム2に取付けた駆動輪としての後輪14,1
4と、透明ルーフ6の両サイドに設けたサイドミラー1
6,16(奥の16は不図示)と、フロントカバー4の
両サイドに設けた点灯器類17,17と、ボディ3の中
央に設けたステアリング18と、ラジエータグリル9の
後方に取付けたラジエータ19と、車体フレーム2の中
央部に積載したバッテリ…21(…は複数個を示す。以
下同じ。)と、運転席11の下部に配置した制御ユニッ
ト22と、車体フレーム2の後方に載せた駆動系ユニッ
ト30とからなる。Mはドライバを示す。なお、3aは
フロントデッキ部、3bはリヤデッキ部であり、これら
のデッキ部3a,3bは人が乗ることができ、これらの
デッキ部3a,3bを通って前後どちらからでも運転席
11に容易に入り込むことができる。

系ユニットの側面図であり、駆動系ユニット30の主な
部品を示す。すなわち、31はフューエルタンク、32
はフューエルポンプ、33はエアクリーナ、34はスロ
ットルプーリ、35はサーボモータ、36aは加給用の
インジェクタ、36bはメインインジェクタ、37はカ
ム軸、38はカム軸37と一体回転するメカポンプ、3
9はヘッドカバー、41はシリンダブロック、42はシ

はエキゾーストパイプ、45はメタル触媒、46はマフ

力伝達装置の断面図である。ハイブリッド車1(図1参
照)の駆動力伝達装置60は、エンジン61と、このエ
ンジン61のクランク軸54に取付けた遠心クラッチ6
2のインナ62aと、このインナ62aが離接する遠心
クラッチ62のアウタ62bと、このアウタ62bにト
ルクリミッタ63を介して接続したコーン型無段変速機
48と、このコーン型無段変速機48にワンウェクラッ
チ65を介して接続した第1伝達ギヤ66と、前記エン
ジン61と共にハイブリッド車1(図1参照)を駆動す
るモータ43と、駆動力の合流ポイントとなるのモータ
軸53と、このモータ軸53に取付けられ第1伝達ギヤ
66に噛み合わせた第2伝達ギヤ67と、モータ軸53
に取付けたエンジン側第1ヘリカルギヤ68及びモータ
側第1ヘリカルギヤ69と、これらのギヤ68,69に
それぞれ噛み合わせたエンジン側第2ヘリカルギヤ71
及びモータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ72と、これらギヤ7
1,72を支持するカウンタシャフト73と、このカウ
ンタシャフト73の両端に設けた圧力センサ74a,7
4b(図8参照)と、カウンタシャフト73に取付けた
出力ギヤ75と、この出力ギヤ75に接続したプロペラ
シャフト76と、このプロペラシャフト76にデファレ
ンシャル78を介して接続したリヤアクスル51と、こ
のリヤアクスル51に取付けた後輪14(図1参照)と
からなる。

ベルト79、チェーン81及びワンウェイクラッチ82
を介してクランク軸54を回転させるものである。
【0011】図4は本発明に係るハイブリッド車のエン
ジンの断面図である。エンジン61は、シリンダブロッ
ク41と、このシリンダブロック41を往復運動するピ
ストン83と、このピストン83に取付けたコンロッド
84と、シリンダブロック41に被せたシリンダヘッド
42と、このシリンダヘッド42に設けた吸気補助バル
ブ84及び排気バルブ85と、シリンダヘッド42に取
付けたスパークプラグ86とからなり、カム軸37と同
軸に回転するメカポンプ38を設けたものである。な
お、37aはカムチェーン、37bはカムスプロケット
を示す。アクセル87の開度により、制御ユニット22
及びサーモータ35を介してスロトルプーリ34を調整
することにより、混合気の供給量を調整してエンジン6
1の出力を制御するものである。モータのみの走行中、
アクセル87が開いている時にエンジン出力の要求があ
った時にはアクセル開度にかかわらず、サーボモータ3
5により、スロットルプーリ34を閉めて、エンジン6
1の始動を良好にする。一方、インジェクタ36aから
供給した混合気の一部は、インテークマニホールド37
から分岐し、メカポンプ38で加給して点火直前に吸気
補助バルブ84からシリンダブロック41内注入してエ
ンジン出力を向上させる。
【0012】以上に述べたハイブリッド車1(図1参
照)の駆動力伝達装置60の作用を図5〜図7で説明す
る。図5(a),(b)は本発明に係る駆動力伝達装置
の第1作用説明図である。(a)は、エンジン61とモ
ータ43との合力で後輪14を駆動する場合である。エ
ンジン61は、遠心クラッチ62のインナ62a、アウ
タ62a、コーン型無段変速機48、ワンウェイクラッ
チ、第1伝達ギヤ66、モータ43との駆動力の合流ポ
イントとなるモータ軸53に取付けた第2伝達ギヤ67
及びエンジン側第1ヘリカルギヤ68、エンジン側第2
ヘリカルギヤ69、出力ギヤ75、プロペラシャフト7
6、デファレンシャル78、リヤアクスル51の順で矢
印の如く後輪14を駆動する。
【0013】一方、モータ43は、モータ軸53、モー
タ側第1ヘリカルギヤ69、モータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ
72、出力ギヤ75、プロペラシャフト76、デファレ
ンシャル78、リヤアクスル51の順で矢印の如く後
輪14を駆動する。エンジン61の駆動力とモータ43
の駆動力は、モータ軸53で合力になる。
【0014】エンジン61での発進するときは遠心クラ
ッチ62を介して滑らかに徐々にトルクを伝達してハイ
ブリッド車1(図1参照)を発進させることができる。
遠心クラッチ62をコーン型無段変速機48の前段に配
置したので、後段に配置する場合よりもクラッチ容量が
小さいものでよい。逆にコーン型無段変速機48側から
すればエンジン61の過大トルクを直接受けなくてもよ
いので、コーン型無段変速機48の保護にもなる。特
に、クラッチを湿式で用いる場合は接圧が小さくなるの
で、遠心クラッチ62をコーン型無段変速機48の後段
に配置したのではより大きなクラッチ容量が必要にな
り、装置が大型化する。遠心クラッチ62のアウタ62
abにコーン型無段変速機48をトルクリッミタ63を
介して接続したので、後輪14からのバックトルクをエ
ンジン61が受けないですむ。
【0015】(b)は、モータ43のみで後輪14を駆
動する場合である。モータ43は、モータ軸53、モー
タ側第1ヘリカルギヤ69、モータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ
72、出力ギヤ75、プロペラシャフト76、デファレ
ンシャル78、リヤアクスル51の順で矢印の如く後
輪14を駆動する。エンジン61は停止させたので、ワ
ンウェイクラッチ65は開放状態となる。モータ48と
の駆動力の合流ポイント直前にワンウェイクラッチ65
を配置したので、モータ43のみで後輪14を駆動する
ときに、負荷側になるコーン型無段変速機48や遠心ク
ラッチ62のアウタ62bなどを連れ回すことがない。
従って、バッテリ21の消費を節約することができ、よ
り長い運転時間を確保することができる。

伝達装置の第2作用説明図である。(a)は、エンジン
61のみで後輪14を駆動する場合である。エンジン6
1は、遠心クラッチ62のインナ62a、アウタ62
a、コーン型無段変速機48、ワンウェイクラッチ6
5、第1伝達ギヤ66、第2伝達ギヤ67の順で矢印
の如くモータ軸53を駆動する。すなわち、モータ43
は発電機として働かせ、バッテリ21(図1参照)を充
電することができる。さらに、エンジン61は、エンジ
ン側第1ヘリカルギヤ68、エンジン側第2ヘリカルギ
ヤ71、出力ギヤ75、プロペラシャフト76、デファ
レンシャル78、リヤアクスル51の順で矢印の如く
後輪14を駆動する。

(図1参照)をバックさせる場合である。モータ43を
逆回転させ、モータ軸53、モータ側第1ヘリカルギヤ
69、モータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ72、出力ギヤ75、
プロペラシャフト76、デファレンシャル78、リヤア
クスル51の順で矢印の如く後輪14に伝え、後輪を
逆回転させる。エンジン61は停止させたがモータ43
は逆回転なので、ワンウェイクラッチ65は接続されコ
ーン型無段変速機48、遠心クラッチ62のアウタ62
bまで矢印の如くモータ43の駆動力は伝わるが、遠
心クラッチ62によりエンジン61まで連れ回すことは
ない。

作用説明図であり、ハイブリッド車1(図1参照)の減
速時の駆動力の流れを示す。ハイブリッド車1(図1参
照)の減速時には、後輪14、リヤアクスル51、デフ
ァレンシャル78、プロペラシャフト76、モータ側第
2ヘリカルギヤ72、モータ側第1ヘリカルギヤ69、
モータ軸53の順で矢印の如くモータ43に伝わり、
モータ53は発電機として作用する。このとき、ワンウ
ェイクラッチ65は開放になるので、減速時の駆動力を
有効にモータ43に伝達することができバッテリ21
(図1参照)を充電することができる。

クセンサユニットの断面図である。トルクセンサユニッ
ト88は、先に説明したカウンタシャフト73と、この
カウンタシャフトの両端に取付けた圧力センサ74a,
74bと、カウンタシャフト73に取付けたエンジン側
第2ヘリカルギヤ71及びモータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ7
2と、これらのギヤ71,72に噛み合わせたエンジン
側第1ヘリカルギヤ68及びモータ側第1ヘリカルギヤ
69で構成したもので、次図に基づいてトルクセンサユ

【0020】図9(a),(b)は本発明に係るトルク
センサユニットの作用説明図である。(a)は、加速時
のトルクセンサユニット88の作用を示す。加速時に
は、エンジン61(図3参照)又はモータ側43から後
輪14に駆動力が伝わる。すなわち、エンジン側第1ヘ
リカルギヤ68及びモータ側第1ヘリカルギヤ69が駆
動側になり、エンジン側第2ヘリカルギヤ71及びモー
タ側第2ヘリカルギヤ72が受動側となるため、これら
のギヤ71,72は矢印aの如くカウンタシャフト73
に応力Faを発生させる。この応力Faを圧力センサ7
4aで検出する。(b)は、減速時のトルクセンサユニ
ット88の作用を示す。減速時には、後輪14側からモ
ータ43側に駆動力が伝わる。すなわち、エンジン側第
2ヘリカルギヤ71及びモータ側第2ヘリカルギヤ72
が駆動側になり、エンジン側第1ヘリカルギヤ68及び
モータ側第1ヘリカルギヤ69が受動側となるため、こ
れらのギヤ68,69は矢印bの如くカウンタシャフト
73に応力Fbを発生させる。この応力Fbを圧力セン
サ74bで検出する。
【0021】すなわち、これらの圧力センサ74a,7
4bで駆動力の大きさ及び伝達の方向を検出し、フィー
ドバック制御をかけ、駆動源であるエンジン61又はモ
ータ43(図2参照)の駆動力を組合せることで、ハイ
ブリッド車1(図1参照)を効率よく駆動することがで
きる。トルクセンサユニット88を、カウンタシャフト
73と、このカウンタシャフトの両端に取付けた圧力セ
ンサ74a,74bと、カウンタシャフト73に取付け
たエンジン側第2ヘリカルギヤ71及びモータ側第2ヘ
リカルギヤ72と、これらのギヤ71,72に噛み合わ
せたエンジン側第1ヘリカルギヤ68及びモータ側第1
ヘリカルギヤ69で構成したので、コンパクトで信頼性
の高いトルク検出機構を具体化することができる。

【発明の効果】本発明は上記構成により次の効果を発揮
する。請求項1は、発電電動機をモータにすることでエ
ンジンと発電電動機とで車両を前進させること、発電電
動機を発電機にすることでエンジンで発電しながらバッ
テリを充電させること、必要により、エンジンを切って
発電電動機のみで車両を前進又はバックさせることが可
能となり、発電電動機を駆動源として車両をバックさせ
ることができ、エンジンを駆動源として発電電動機を介
してバッテリ充電が実現できるのでハイブリッド車の使
い勝手がよくなる。

    ハイブリッド車において、 発電電動機とエンジンの駆動力合流ポイントまでのエン
    ジンからの駆動力伝達系統に、遠心クラッチと、変速機
    と、ワンウェイクラッチとを、配置したことを特徴とす
    るハイブリッド車の駆動力伝達装置。
