Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下の工程を包含する、インプラントの作製方法: リン酸カルシウムとポリマーバインダーとの混合物を形成する工程;および 該ポリマーバインダーを選択的に融合して該インプラントを形成する工程。 2.前記混合物が多数の集塊ポリマーでコーティングされたリン酸カルシウム粒 子を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記ポリマーでコーティングされた粒子が、前記リン酸カルシウムと前記ポ リマーバインダーとの水性混合物をスプレー乾燥する工程により形成される、請 求項2に記載の方法。 4.前記インプラントを溶浸させ、そして熱焼結する工程をさらに包含する、請 求項1に記載の方法。 5.前記インプラントがリン酸カルシウム溶液で溶浸される、請求項4に記載の 方法。 6.前記インプラントを熱焼結する工程をさらに包含する、請求項1に記載の方 法。 7.前記インプラントを溶浸させ、そして再び熱焼結する工程をさらに包含する 、請求項6に記載の方法。 8.前記インプラントがリン酸カルシウム溶液で溶浸される、請求項7に記載の 方法。 9.前記ポリマーバインダーがレーザー光線を用いて選択的に融合される、請求 項1に記載の方法。 10.前記ポリマーバインダーが、選択的に融合され、所望の幾何学的形状を複 製する、請求項9に記載の方法。 11.前記ポリマーバインダーが、選択的に融合され、所望の幾何学的形状を形 成する、請求項9に記載の方法。 12.前記所望の幾何学的形状が、コンピュータによりレーザー光線に伝達され る、請求項10または11に記載の方法。 13.前記所望の幾何学的形状が、コンピュータ断層撮影データから得られる、 請求項12に記載の方法。 14.前記所望の幾何学的形状が、コンピュータ援用設計ソフトウェアデータか ら得られる、請求項12に記載の方法。 15.前記リン酸カルシウムが、ヒドロキシアパタイトとリン酸との水溶液の反 応により調製される、請求項1に記載の方法。 16.前記リン酸カルシウムが、メタリン酸カルシウム、ピロリン酸カルシウム 、約25重量%〜約45重量%の酸化カルシウムを含むリン酸カルシウム、および約 0.5重量%〜約2重量%の酸化ナトリウムを含むリン酸カルシウムからなる群か ら選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。 17.前記リン酸カルシウムがメタリン酸カルシウムを含む、請求項1に記載の 方法。 18.前記リン酸カルシウムが、約5ミクロン〜約100ミクロンの平均粒子サイ ズを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 19.前記リン酸カルシウムが、約30ミクロン〜約50ミクロンの平均粒子サイズ を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 20.前記ポリマーバインダーが以下の特性を有する、請求項1に記載の方法: (a)約40℃と約100℃との間のTg;ならびに (b)200℃および75psiの押出し圧力での約1g/10分と約50g/10分との間のメル トフローインデックス。 21.前記ポリマーバインダーが、メチルメタクリレートのホモポリマー、コポ リマー、またはターポリマーを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。 22.前記ポリマーバインダーが、ポリ(メチルメタクリレート-コ-n-ブチルメ タクリレート)コポリマーを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。 23.請求項1の方法により製造されたインプラント。 24.請求項9の方法により製造されたインプラント。 25.以下の工程を包含する、インプラントの作製方法: (a)リン酸カルシウムとポリマーバインダーとの混合物を形成する工程; (b)該混合物の層を形成する工程; (c)該ポリマーバインダーを選択的に融合する工程;ならびに (d)該工程(b)および(c)を所望の回数繰り返して、複層を形成する工程であっ て、該層のそれぞれが隣接する層同士に融合し、該インプラントを形成する工程 。 26.前記各層の厚みが約3/1000インチ〜約12/1000インチである 、請求項25に記載の方法。 27.前記インプラントが約100ミクロン〜約300ミクロンの平均細孔サイズを有 する、請求項25に記載の方法。 28.前記インプラントが約50%〜約80%の相対密度を有する、請求項25に記 載の方法。 29.請求項25に記載の方法により製造されたインプラント。 30.以下を包含する、インプラントを作製するためのシステム: リン酸カルシウムとポリマーバインダーとの混合物;および 該ポリマーバインダーを選択的に融合して該インプラントを形成するための手 段。 31.前記混合物の層を形成するための手段をさらに備える、請求項30に記載 のシステム。 32.前記融合手段がレーザー光線を包含する、請求項30または31に記載の システム。 33.前記融合手段を制御して所望の幾何学的形状の前記インプラントを形成す る手段をさらに備える、請求項30に記載のシステム。 34.前記制御手段がコンピュータ断層撮影データを包含する、請求項33に記 載のシステム。 35.前記制御手段がコンピュータ援用設計ソフトウェアを包含する、請求項3 3に記載のシステム。
