Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)第一のモノビニル芳香族モノマー及び第一のポリビニル芳香族モノマー からなる第一のコポリマーであってポリビニル芳香族モノマーの濃度が第一のコ ポリマー中の全モノマー量の重量基準で約3.0重量%より少ない第一のコポリ マーのポリマーシードビーズに、第二のモノビニル芳香族モノマー、第二のポリ ビニル芳香族モノマー及びフリーラジカル開始剤からなるモノマー混合物を吸収 させ、 b)第一のコポリマー、及び上記のポリマーシードビーズに吸収したモノマー混 合物のフリーラジカル重合によってつくった第二のコポリマーからなるポリマー マトリックスをつくり、そして c)ポリマーマトリックスの第一のコポリマーと第二のコポリマーを共に架橋し て架橋シード化コポリマービーズをつくることを特徴とする酸化及び溶出に対す る高い抵抗性をもつ架橋シード化コポリマービーズ及びカチオン交換樹脂の製造 方法。 2.ポリマーマトリックスのコポリマーの架橋が、架橋しうるモノビニル芳香族 モノマーをシードビーズに入れシードビーズに吸収させたモノマー混合物のフリ ーラジカル重合中に上記の架橋しうる部分を活性化することからなる請求項1の 方法。 3.架橋しうるモノビニル芳香族モノマーがビニルベンゾシクロブテンである請 求項2の方法。 4.ポリマーマトリックスのコポリマーの架橋が、ポリマーマトリックスをスル ホン化することによりスルホン橋かけを形成させることからなる請求項1の方法 。 5.スルホン橋かけが、硼素化合物の存在下スルホン化することにより形成され る請求項4の方法。 6.ポリマーマトリックスのコポリマーの架橋が、メチレン橋かけを形成させる ことからなる請求項1の方法。 7.(a)ポリビニル芳香族モノマーの濃度が第一のコポリマー中の全モノマー の3重量%より少ない第一のモノビニル芳香族モノマー及び第一のポリビニル芳 香族モノマーからなる第一のコポリマー、並びに(b)第二のモノビニル芳香族 モノマー及び第二のポリビニル芳香族モノマーからなる第二のコポリマーからな り、第一のコポリマーが第二のコポリマーに架橋しているシード化ポリマービー ズ。 8.第一のコポリマーが、メチレン橋かけにより第二のコポリマーに架橋してい る請求項7のシード化ポリマービーズ。 9.(a)ポリビニル芳香族モノマーの濃度が第一のコポリマー中の全モノマー の3重量%より少ない第一のモノビニル芳香族モノマー及び第一のポリビニル芳 香族モノマーからなる第一のコポリマー、並びに(b)第二のモノビニル芳香族 モノマー及び第二のポリビニル芳香族モノマーからなる第二のコポリマーからな り、第一のコポリマーが第二のコポリマーにスルホン橋かけにより架橋している シード化カチオン交換樹脂。 10.第一のコポリマーが第二のコポリマーにスルホン橋かけにより架橋してい る請求項9のシード化カチオン交換樹脂。
