Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アルミニウム合金シートに隣接する金属部材に結合された前記シートから 成る組立品の製作方法において、 (a)アルミニウム合金シートを、有機ホスホン酸及び有機ホスフィン酸から 成る群より選択されるリン含有有機酸で被覆し、それにより有機の、非クロム酸 塩表面皮膜をその上に有する被覆シートを作る工程と、 (b)前記被覆シートにポリマー接着剤を塗布する工程と、 (c)前記ポリマー接着剤により前記被覆シートを隣接する金属部材に結合す る工程と、 から成る、上記方法。 2.(d)工程(a)の後、かつ工程(b)の前に被覆シートを望みの形状に 加工する工程を更に含む請求項1記載の方法。 3.(d’)被覆シートを隣接する金属部材に溶接する工程を更に含む請求項 1記載の方法。 4.(d”)前記被覆シートをペンキ塗りする工程を更に含む請求項1記載の 方法。 5.工程(a)の被覆シートが本質的に、アルミニウム合金シートと、前記シ ートに隣接する約200Å以下の厚さを有する酸化物層と、前記酸化物層の上を 覆う有機表面皮膜とから成る請求項1記載の方法。 6.表面皮膜が本質的に有機酸の単層から成る請求項5記載の方法。 7.表面皮膜が約15mg/m2以下の皮膜重量を有する請求項1記載の方法 。 8.リン含有有機酸は、 (i)式Rm[PO(OH)2]n(式中、Rは1〜30の炭素原子を含む有機 基であり、mは有機基の数であって約1〜10であり、そしてnはホスホン酸基 の数であって約1〜10である。)を有する有機ホスホン酸、 (ii)式RmR' o[PO(OH)]n(式中、Rは上記に定義されているも のであり、R’は水素又は1〜30の炭素原子を含む有機基であり、mはR基の 数であり、nはホスフィン酸基の数であり、そしてoは分子内のR’基の数で ある。)を有する有機ホスフィン酸、及び (iii)前記有機ホスホン酸と有機ホスフィン酸の混合物 から成る群より選択される請求項1記載の方法。 9.有機酸はビニルホスホン酸から成る請求項1記載の方法。 10.ポリマー接着剤はエポキシ及びアクリル系接着剤から成る群より選択さ れる請求項1記載の方法。 11.金属部材はスチール又はアルミニウム合金から成る請求項1記載の方法 。 12.表面皮膜は約1重量%以下のクロムを含む請求項1記載の方法。 13.表面皮膜は本質的にクロムを含まない請求項1記載の方法。 14.溶接済み自動車用組立品の製作方法において、 (a)アルミニウム合金シートを有機ホスホン酸又は有機ホスフィン酸で被覆 して約1重量%以下のクロムを含む有機表面皮膜を有する被覆シートを作る工程 と、 (b)前記シートを望みの形状に切断してから加工する工程と、 (c)その被覆シートの結合区域にエポキシ接着剤を塗布する工程と、 (d)前記の被覆シートの結合区域を、スチールまたはアルミニウム合金から 成る隣接する金属部材に結合し、それにより自動車用組立品を製作する工程と、 (e)前記被覆シートを前記金属部材に前記結合区域において溶接する工程と 、 (f)前記エポキシ接着剤を硬化させる工程と から成る、上記方法。 15.請求項14記載の方法により製作された溶接済み自動車用組立品。
