Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年3月1日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/812,334号に対する優先権を主張するものである。その内容は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本開示は、ホスホネート官能化層を含む金属基板処理方法および物品に関する。
本発明の様々な態様は、以下の番号付きの節に列挙される態様を含むが、これらに限定されない。
1.金属基板処理方法であって、アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム合金のうちの少なくとも1つを含む金属基板を流体と接触させて、金属基板の少なくとも1つの領域上にホスホネート官能化層を形成することを含み、流体が、ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つが、第1の酸性プロトンのpKaを含み、流体が、第1の酸性プロトンのpKaよりも少なくとも0.5pH値大きいpHを含む、方法。
2.流体が、第1の酸性プロトンのpKaよりも少なくとも2pH値大きいpHを含む、節1に記載の方法。
3.流体が、11以下のpHを含む、節1または2に記載の方法。
4.流体が、3.5~9.5の範囲のpHを含む、節1~3のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
5.流体が、6.5~8.5の範囲のpHを含む、節1~4のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
6.ホスホネート含有酸が、亜リン酸、フェニルホスホン酸、エチルホスホン酸、オクチルホスホン酸、オクタデシルホスホン酸、ビニルホスホン酸、ビニルホスホン酸ジメチルエステル、ジエチレントリアミンペンタキス(メチルホスホン酸)、オクタンジホスホン酸、およびこのような各化合物の誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つである、節1~5のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
7.ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つが、式:
8.流体が、流体の総重量に基づいて、0.1重量パーセント~20重量パーセントのホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節1~7のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
9.流体が、流体の総重量に基づいて、0.2重量パーセント~5重量パーセントのホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節1~8のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
10.流体が、流体の総重量に基づいて、0.5重量パーセント~2重量パーセントのホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節1~9のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
11.金属基板を接触させることが、金属基板を流体の槽に浸漬すること、流体を金属基板上に噴霧すること、および金属基板上の流体を拭き取ることのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節1~10のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
12.金属基板を接触させることが、金属基板を流体の槽に浸漬することを含み、かつ槽内の流体を通してガスを泡立てること、および槽内の流体を撹拌することからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの方法によって、流体の槽をかき混ぜることをさらに含む、節11に記載の方法。
13.流体が、1秒~40分の範囲の時間、金属基板に接触する、節1~12のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
14.流体が、5秒~5分の範囲の時間、基板に接触する、節1~13のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
15.流体が、10秒~30秒の範囲の時間、基板に接触する、節1~14のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
16.ホスホネート官能化層が、金属基板に結合されたホスホネート基を含む、節1~15のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
17.ホスホネート官能化層を含む金属基板と、ホスホネート官能化層を含まない金属基板との間のCIELAB明度差(ΔL*)が、BYK-Gardner Spectro Guide 45/0分光光度計で測定した場合に10以下である、節1~16のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
18.金属基板を接触させる前に、
金属基板を洗浄することをさらに含み、洗浄が、アルカリ洗浄、酸洗浄、および二酸化炭素ベースの洗浄技術のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節1~17のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
19.金属基板上のホスホネート官能化層の少なくとも一部分の上にコーティング層を堆積させることをさらに含む、節1~18のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
20.コーティング層が、シロキサン、シラザン、フルオロポリマー、アクリル、エポキシ、ポリエステル、およびポリウレタンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節19に記載の方法。
21.金属基板を含む物品が、航空宇宙用部品、自動車用部品、輸送用部品、ならびに建物および建設用部品のうちの少なくとも1つとして構成されている、節1~20のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
22.金属基板を含む物品が、車両ホイールである、節21に記載の方法。
23.アルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金を含む金属基板と、
金属基板の少なくとも1つの領域上のホスホネート官能化層と、を含む、物品。
24.ホスホネート官能化層が、金属基板に結合されたホスホネート基を含む、節23に記載の物品。
25.ホスホネート官能化層の少なくとも1つの領域上に堆積したコーティングをさらに含む、節23または24に記載の物品。
26.コーティングが、シロキサン、シラザン、フルオロポリマー、アクリル、エポキシ、ポリエステル、およびポリウレタンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、節25に記載の物品。
27.物品が、航空宇宙用部品、自動車用部品、輸送用部品、ならびに建物および建設用部品のうちの少なくとも1つとして構成されている、節23~26のいずれか1つに記載の物品。
28.物品が、車両ホイールである、節23~26のいずれか1つに記載の物品。
Claims (20)
- 金属基板処理方法であって、
アルミニウムおよびアルミニウム合金のうちの少なくとも1つを含む金属基板を流体と接触させて、前記金属基板の少なくとも1つの領域上にホスホネート官能化層を形成することを含み、前記流体が、ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含み、
前記ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つが、第1の酸性プロトンのpKaを含み、前記流体が、前記第1の酸性プロトンの前記pKaよりも少なくとも0.5pH値大きいpHを含む、方法。 - 前記流体が、前記第1の酸性プロトンの前記pKaよりも少なくとも2pH値大きいpHを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記流体が、3.5~9.5の範囲のpHを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスホネート含有酸が、亜リン酸、フェニルホスホン酸、エチルホスホン酸、オクチルホスホン酸、オクタデシルホスホン酸、ビニルホスホン酸、ビニルホスホン酸ジメチルエステル、ジエチレントリアミンペンタキス(メチルホスホン酸)、オクタンジホスホン酸、およびこのような各化合物の誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記流体が、前記流体の総重量に基づいて、0.1重量パーセント~20重量パーセントの前記ホスホネート含有酸およびその誘導体のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属基板を接触させることが、前記金属基板を前記流体の槽に浸漬すること、前記流体を前記金属基板上に噴霧すること、および前記金属基板上の前記流体を拭き取ることのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属基板を接触させることが、前記金属基板を前記流体の槽に浸漬することを含み、かつ前記槽内の前記流体を通してガスを泡立てること、および前記槽内の前記流体を撹拌することからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの方法を使用して、前記流体の前記槽をかき混ぜることをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記流体が、1秒~40分の範囲の時間、前記金属基板に接触する、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスホネート官能化層が、前記金属基板に結合されたホスホネート基を含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ホスホネート官能化層を含む前記金属基板と、前記ホスホネート官能化層を含まない前記金属基板との間のCIELAB明度差(ΔL*)が、BYK-Gardner Spectro Guide 45/0分光光度計で測定した場合に10以下である、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属基板を接触させる前に、

- 前記ホスホネート官能化層の少なくとも1つの領域上に堆積したコーティングをさらに含む、請求項15または16に記載の物品。
- 前記コーティングが、シロキサン、シラザン、フルオロポリマー、アクリル、エポキシ、ポリエステル、およびポリウレタンのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項17に記載の物品。
