Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.各々が2より大きいN個の行方向に隣接する表示素子を持つグループで行列 方向に延在するように配置された表示素子のアレイを有するマトリックス表示パ ネルと、互いに相違する角方向の前記表示素子の出力を検出するために前記表示 素子の各グループに各々が関連する複数の光学的指導素子を有する光学的指導手 段とを具える自動立体表示装置において、各グループの前記表示素子を、前記隣 接する表示素子が前記列方向で部分的に互いに重なり合うように配置したことを 特徴とする自動立体表示装置。 2.前記表示素子を、矩形でない平行四辺形形状とし、グループ中でそれら表示 素子を直線に配置して、隣接する表示素子の対向するエッジをほぼ隣接させると ともにそのエッジが前記列方向にある角度で延在するようにしたことを特徴とす る請求の範囲1記載の自動立体表示装置。 3.前記表示素子の一方の側のコーナを、隣接する表示素子の同一のサイドのコ ーナーと前記列方向でほぼ整列させるようにしたことを特徴とする請求の範囲2 記載の自動立体表示装置。 4.前記表示素子を三角形状とし、グループ中、これら表示素子を、ある表示素 子の向きが隣接する表示素子に対して逆になるように前記行方向に延在するライ ンに配置して、隣接する表示素子の対向するエッジがほぼ隣接するとともに前記 行方向に対してある角度で延在するようにしたことを特徴とする請求の範囲1記 載の自動立体表示装置。 5.ある表示素子の底辺のコーナーを、隣接する表示素子の底辺の中央に対して 前記列方向にほぼ整列したことを特徴とする請求の範囲4記載の自動立体表示装 置。 6.前記表示素子を一列に配置するとともに、隣接する表示素子の対向エッジを 前記行方向で互いに組み合わせるように形成したことを特徴とする請求の範囲1 記載の自動立体表示装置。 7.グループ中の前記表示素子を、ほぼ矩形形状とし、ある表示素子を、隣接す る表示素子に対して前記列方向にオフセットするように配置して、その表示素 子が前記隣接する表示素子の上に前記列方向で存在するようにしたことを特徴と する請求の範囲1記載の自動立体表示装置。 8.各グループ中、少なくとも6個の表示素子を具え、見る方向に連続的に隣接 する表示素子を少なくとも3行に配置したことを特徴とする請求の範囲7記載の 自動立体表示装置。 9.前記光学的指導手段は、前記列方向に延在する複数の細長レンチキュラーを 有するレンチキュラースクリーンを具えることを特徴とする請求の範囲1から8 のうちのいずれかに記載の自動立体表示装置。 10.前記光学的指導手段は、前記列方向に延在する複数の細長スリットを有す る視差バリアを具えることを特徴とする請求の範囲1から8のうちのいずれかに 記載の自動立体表示装置。 11.前記マトリックス表示パネルは液晶表示パネルを具えることを特徴とする 請求の範囲1から10のうちのいずれかに記載の自動立体表示装置。 12.前記マトリックス表示パネルは、各表示素子を2端子の非線形切替装置に 関連させたアクティブマトリックス液晶パネルを具えることを特徴とする請求の 範囲11記載の自動立体表示装置。
