Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)水の中に乳化された加水分解性アルコキシシラン化合物、及び(b)前記加 水分解性アルコキシシラン化合物を実質的に完全に加水分解された状態に保留し そして同時に前記の加水分解されたアルコキシシラン化合物の認め得る自己縮合 を抑制するのに十分に高いHLB値の効果的な量の乳化剤を含む、反応性水性エ マルジョン。 2.前記加水分解性アルコキシシラン化合物が式: [式中、 Rfは3〜18個の炭素原子のペルフルオロアルキル基であり、 R′は1〜3個の炭素原子の同一の又は異なるアルキル基であり、 pは2〜4であり、そして nは2〜10である] によって表されるフルオロカーボンシランである、請求項1に記載の反応性水 性エマルジョン。 3.Rfが平均で8〜12個の炭素を有する混合ペルフルオロアルキル基である、請 求項2に記載の反応性水性エマルジョン。 4.前記フルオロカーボンシランがペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(2−(2 −メトキシエトキシ)エトキシ)シランである、請求項2に記載の反応性水性エマ ルジョン。 5.前記フルオロカーボンシランが2−ペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(2 −(2−(2−メトキシエトキシ)エトキシ)エトキシ)シランである、請求項2に 記載の反応性水性エマルジョン。 6.前記フルオロカーボンシランが2−ペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(ポ リオキシエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル)シランである、請求項2に記 載の反応性水性エマルジョン。 7.(a)(i)式: [式中、 Rfは3〜18個の炭素原子のペルフルオロアルキル基であり、 R′は1〜3個の炭素原子の同一の又は異なるアルキル基であり、 pは2〜4であり、そして nは2〜10である] によって表されるフルオロカーボンシラン、及び(ii)前記加水分解性アルコキ シシラン化合物を実質的に完全に加水分解された状態に保留しそして同時に前記 の加水分解されたアルコキシシラン化合物の認め得る自己縮合を抑制するのに十 分に高いHLB値の効果的な量の乳化剤を水の中に乳化させて、かくして反応性 水性エマルジョンを生成させるステップ、並びに (b)基体をステップ(a)の前記反応性水性エマルジョンと接触させるステッ プ から成る、基体をコートするための方法。 8.Rfが平均で8〜12個の炭素を有する混合ペルフルオロアルキル基である、請 求項7に記載の基体をコートするための方法。 9.前記フルオロカーボンシランがペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(2−(2 −メトキシエトキシ)エトキシ)シランである、請求項7に記載の基体をコートす るための方法。 10.前記フルオロカーボンシランが2−ペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(2 −(2−(2−メトキシエトキシ)エトキシ)エトキシ)シランである、請求項7に 記載の基体をコートするための方法。 11.前記フルオロカーボンシランが2−ペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリス(ポ リオキシエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル)シランである、請求項7に記 載の基体をコートするための方法。
