Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 (1)直接シーケンスのスペクトル拡散通信システムで、PNシーケンス同期を 決定する方法において、 第1の組の一時的にオフセットされたPNシーケンスの第1の組の信号相関エ ネルギ値を計算し、 第1のしきい値に対して第1の組の信号相関エネルギ値を比較し、 前記第1の組の信号相関エネルギ値にしたがって第2の組のPNシーケンスを 選択し、 前記第2の組のPNシーケンスに対する第2の組の信号相関エネルギ値を計算 し、それにおいて第2の組のPNシーケンスは前記第1の組のPNシーケンスの サブセットであり、 前記第2の組の信号相関エネルギ値にしたがって前記第2の組のPNシーケン スから前記同期されたPNシーケンスを選択するステップを有する方法。 (2)前記第2のしきい値に対して前記第2の組の信号相関エネルギ値を比較す るステップをさらに有する請求項1記載の方法。 (3)前記選択された同期PNシーケンスにしたがって受信信号を復調するステ ップをさらに有する請求項2記載の方法。 (5)受信信号を与えるために放送信号を受信し、下方変換するステップをさら に有する請求項1記載の方法。 (6)第1の組の信号相関エネルギ値を計算する前記ステップは、 第1の組の集合信号を与えるために前記第1の組のPNシ ーケンスの各PNシーケンスにしたがって前記受信信号を集合し、 それぞれの前記集合信号の信号相関エネルギ値を計算するステップを有する請 求項5記載の方法。 (7)前記第1の組のPNシーケンスを発生するステップをさらに有する請求項 1記載の方法。 (8)前記第1の組のPNシーケンスを発生する前記ステップは、 制御信号を与え、 前記制御信号にしたがって前記第1の組のPNシーケンスのPNシーケンスを 発生するステップを有する請求項7記載の方法。 (9)前記制御信号が一時的なオフセットであり、前記PNシーケンスを発生す るステップが前記一時的なオフセットにしたがってシフトレジスタから前記PN シーケンスを出力することを含む請求項8記載の方法。 (10)前記第1の組のPNシーケンスが直角PNI およびPNQ シーケンスを 有する請求項1記載の方法。 (11)前記集合信号のそれぞれに対して前記信号相関エネルギ値を計算する前 記ステップは、 前記PNI およびPNQ シーケンスを発生し、 前記受信信号の対応する集合されたIおよびQ成分を与えるために前記PNI とPNQ シーケンスによって受信信号のI成分と受信信号のQ成分を集合し、 累算されたI成分を与えるために前記受信信号の前記集合 されたI成分をコヒーレントに累算し、 累算されたQ成分を与えるために前記受信信号の前記集合Q成分をコヒーレン トに累算し、 前記累算されたI成分と前記累算されたQ成分とをそれぞれ二乗し、前記累算 されたI成分と前記累算されたQ成分の前記二乗を加算し、 前記累算されたI成分と前記累算されたQ成分の前記二乗の前記合計とをコヒ ーレントではなく結合するステップを有する請求項10記載の方法。 (12)前記第1の制御信号に応答して複数の復調シーケンスを与える第1の制 御信号を受信するシーケンス発生器手段と、 受信信号を受信し、複数の集合信号を与えるために前記複数の復調シーケンス にしたがって受信信号を復調する復調器と、 前記複数の集合信号を受信し前記複数の集合信号の信号相関エネルギ値を計算 する相関器手段と、 前記信号相関エネルギ値を受信し、前記第1の制御信号を与え、前記信号相関 エネルギ値にしたがって第2の制御信号を与えるためのサーチ制御装置手段とを 具備しており、 前記シーケンス発生器手段は前記第2の制御信号を受信し、第2の制御信号に 応答して第2の複数の復調シーケンスを出力し、前記第2の複数の復調シーケン スは前記第1の複数の復調シーケンスのサブセットである同期された復調シーケ ンスを選択する装置。 (13)前記相関器手段が前記複数の集合信号を受信し、復調シーケンスの長さ にわたって集合信号を合計する請求項12記載の装置。 (14)前記受信信号は第1の受信信号成分と第2の受信信号成分とを含み、前 記復調手段は、前記第1の受信信号成分と前記第2の受信信号成分とを受信し、 第1の複数の集合信号を与えるために第1の複数の復調シーケンスにしたがって 第1の受信信号成分を復調し、第2の複数の集合信号を与えるために第2の複数 の復調シーケンスにしたがって前記第2の受信信号成分を復調し、前記シーケン ス発生器手段は前記第1の複数の復調シーケンスと前記第2の複数の復調シーケ ンスを発生する請求項12記載の装置。 (15)前記相関器手段は、 前記第1の複数の集合信号を受信し、第1の複数の集合合計値を与えるために 復調シーケンスの長さにわたって前記複数の各集合信号を合計する第1の累算装 置手段と、 前記第2の複数の集合信号を受信し、第2の複数の集合合計値を与えるために 復調シーケンスの長さにわたって前記複数の各集合信号を合計する第2の累算装 置手段と、 前記第1の複数の集合合計値および、前記第2の複数の集合合計値を受信し、 前記信号相関エネルギ値を与えるために前記第1の複数の集合合計値と第2の複 数の集合合計値を結合する結合器手段とを具備している請求項14記載の装置。 (16)前記結合器手段は、前記第1の複数の集合合計値および、前記第2の複 数の集合合計値を受信し、複数のエネル ギ量値を与えるために前記第1の複数の集合合計値のそれぞれと、前記第2の複 数の集合合計値のそれぞれとを二乗し、前記第1の複数の二乗された集合合計値 のそれぞれを前記第2の複数の二乗された集合合計値の対応するものに加算する 二乗手段と、 前記複数のエネルギ量値を受信し、前記複数のエネルギ量値にしたがって前記 信号相関エネルギ値を計算するコヒーレントではない結合器とを具備している請 求項15記載の装置。 (17)前記サーチ制御装置がさらに結合信号を出力し、前記コヒーレントでは ない結合器が前記結合信号に応答する請求項16記載の装置。 (18)第1の制御信号を受信する入力と、出力とを有するシーケンス発生器と 、 前記シーケンス発生器出力に結合された入力と、出力とを有する復調器と、 前記復調器出力に結合された入力と、出力とを有する相関器と、 前記相関器出力に結合された入力を有するサーチ制御装置とを具備している同 期された復調シーケンスを選択するシステム。 (19)前記相関器がコヒーレントな累算装置である請求項18記載のシステム 。 (20)前記シーケンス発生器が第2の出力を有し、前記復調器が前記シーケン ス発生器の第2の出力に結合された第2の入力を有する請求項18記載のシステ ム。 (21)前記復調器が第2の出力を有し、前記相関器が、 前記復調器の出力に結合された入力と、出力とを有する第1のコヒーレントな 累算装置と、 前記第2の復調器の出力に結合された入力と、出力とを有する第2のコヒーレ ントな累算装置と、 前記第1のコヒーレントな累算装置の出力に結合された第1の入力と、前記第 2のコヒーレントな累算装置の出力に結合された第2の入力と、出力とを有する 二乗の合計の計算器と、 前記二乗の合計の計算器の出力に結合された入力を有するコヒーレントではな い累算装置とを具備している請求項18記載のシステム。
