(57)【要約】 板状体に汚れ拭き取り用シートを着脱して使用する掃除
用具において、各種寸法のシートの使用を可能にする。 【課題】汚れ拭き取り用シート５を着脱する板状体２に
長柄４が取り付けられた掃除用具１において、板状体２
の上面１０に、一対のクランプ部材１３が互いに内端部
１４を対向させて左右対称に配設され、それぞれの部材
１３は、板状体上面１０から上方へ開くことができるよ
うにその内端部１４が上面１０に対して枢動可能に取り

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、汚れ拭き取り用
シートを着脱することが可能な、床面等を掃除するため
の用具に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】この種用具の一例が特開平５−２４５０
９１号公報に開示されている。それによれば、上面に長
柄を有する矩形の板状体の下面に汚れ拭き取り用シート
を当てがい、該シートの縁部を板状体の長辺に沿って上
面側へ折り返し、該上面のクランプ部材でその縁部を把
持することによって、汚れ拭き取り用シートが前記用具
に取り付けられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記公知技術では、ク
ランプ部材がヒンジ機構を介して板状体上面に取り付け
られている。このヒンジ機構は、板状体の長辺の両端
間、すなわち左右の短辺間に延在しているから、拭き取
り用シートをその短辺に沿って折り返した場合には、ヒ
ンジ機構が邪魔となりそのシートを把持することができ
ない。
【０００４】そこでこの発明は、拭き取り用シートを取
り付けるための二組の互いに平行な辺によって画成され
る四角形の板状体において、どちらの組の辺でシートを
折り返しても、それを該板状体に取り付けることができ
るようにすることを課題にしている。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
に、この発明においては、二組の互いに平行な辺が直交
して画成する四角形板状体の上面に長柄を有し、該板状
体に着脱する汚れ拭き取り用シートで該板状体下面を被
覆する掃除用具を前提にしている。
【０００６】かかる前提において、前記拭き取り用シー
トを着脱するための手段が前記板状体の上面において前
記二組のうちの一組の平行な辺を二等分する線上で互い
に内端部を対向させて左右対称に配設された一対のクラ
ンプ部材と、該クランプ部材が係脱する前記上面に形成
された係合手段とで構成され、前記一対のクランプ部材
のそれぞれが、前記上面から上方へ開くことができるよ
うに前記内端部において枢動可能に前記上面に取り付け
られて、開いたときには該クランプ部材と前記上面との
間に前記拭き取り用シートの縁部を挿入可能であり、閉
じたときには、該止着部材が前記上面の係合手段に係合
して、挿入された前記シートの縁部を前記上面とともに
挟持可能であることが、この発明の特徴である。

【実施例】添付の図面を参照して、この発明に係る掃除
用具の詳細を説明すると、以下のとおりである。
【０００８】図１に斜視図で示された掃除用具１は、板
状体２と、慣用の自在接手３を介して板状体２に取り付
けられた長柄４とで構成され、板状体２に取り付けられ
た汚れ拭き取り用シート５が仮想線で示されている。な
お、長柄４は、その一部の図示が省略されている。
【０００９】板状体２は、左右に長い矩形であって、互
いに対向する一対の長辺７Ａと一対の短辺７Ｂとを有
し、硬質プラスチック製の本体８と、本体８の周壁２１
（図２参照）を覆う弾性部材９とで構成されている。本
体８の上面１０において、一対の短辺７Ｂを二等分する
線上の中央には自在接手３取り付け用の左右一対の突起
１１があり、それぞれの短辺７Ｂと突起１１との間には
凹部１６が形成されている。凹部１６は、そのほぼ全体
がシート取り付け用クランプ部材１３で覆われ、その部
材１３は、凹部１６に対して開閉するように内端部１４
が本体８の上面に枢動可能に取り付けられている。クラ
ンプ部材１３は、短辺７Ｂにのぞむ外端部１５を摘め
ば、凹部１６に対して開閉することができるから、矢印
Ｐ方向に開いた後に、シート５の縁部を凹部１６の上に
当てがい、続いて該部材１３を閉じると、上面１０と部
材１３とでシート５を取り外し不能に挟持することがで
きる。
【００１０】長柄４は、硬質プラスチック製であり、双
頭矢印Ｑ及びＲの両方向に枢動可能である。
【００１１】図２は、図１のＩＩ−ＩＩ線部分断面図で
あって、クランプ部材１３の一方が開いた状態にある。
板状体２において、弾性部材９は、その側壁３１が本体
８の周壁２１に形成されたフランジ２２に容易には外れ
ることがないように嵌合しており、周壁２１と側壁３１
とは、実質的に一体である。部材９は、本体８の下側全
体を覆うことで板状体２の下面２３を形成している。本
体８の下側には、垂下する多数のリブ２４があり、それ
らが弾性部材９の内面に上から当接している。弾性部材
９は、その四周の側壁３１の外方に断面が逆Ｌ字型の第
２の側壁３０を有し、この第２の側壁３０は、部材９の
側壁３１の上方に位置する基端部３２と、基端部３２か
ら水平方向外側に僅かに延びたのち、側壁３１とほぼ平
行に垂下する側部３３とによって構成され、側部３３は
側壁３１から寸法ｄだけ離間している。
【００１２】図３は、板状体２の部分斜視図であって、
開いた状態のクランプ部材１３を示している。クランプ
部材１３は、硬質プラスチック製であって、外端部１５
の下面に係止顎３５を有し、閉じたときに本体８の係止
顎３６にラッチ係合する。クランプ部材１３下面の幅方
向両側には、先端が鋸歯状をなす一対の係止部３７，３
８が垂下し、部材１３が閉じたときに、凹部１６に形成
された一対の溝部３９，４０に嵌入する。本体８には、
両凹部３９，４０間に商品名マジックテープで知られる
雌雄一対のテープのうちの雄のテープ４１が貼着してい
る。
【００１３】このように構成された用具１では、まずク
ランプ部材１３を開き、次に拭き取り用シート５を板状
体２の下面２３に当てがい、さらにシート５の縁部４
５，４６（図１参照）を長辺７Ａに沿って板状体２の上
面１０に折り重ねて縁部４５が溝部３９を覆い、縁部４
６が溝部４０を覆う状態でそれら縁部４５，４６をテー
プ４１に止着する。次に、クランプ部材１３を閉じる
と、シート５は、係止部３７，３８の側壁と溝部３９，
４０の側壁とで挟持されるとともに、係止部３７，３８
の鋸歯状先端部に当接する。このような挟持と当接とに
よって、シート５は床面を拭いたときにも板状体２から
外れることがない。加えて、この板状体２の四周には弾
性材料の第２の側壁３０があるから、シート５が緊張す
るように縁部４５と縁部４６とをテープ４１に止着して
クランプ部材１３を閉じると、第２の側壁３０の側部３
３が押圧されて板状体２の水平方向外側から内側方向へ
一度弾性変形し、その後復元しようとする。その復元力
によって、シート５は一層緊張し、板状体３の下面２３
によく密着する。クランプ部材１３は、シート５を容易
に挟持することができるように、左右の係止部３７，３
８の離間距離Ｌが内端部１４の幅Ｗよりも大きくなって
いる。
【００１４】図４に示す板状体２では、拭き取り用シー
ト５の縁部４７，４８が短辺７Ｂに沿って折り返され、
部材１３でクランプされている。シート５の幅が広いと
きに図のように取り付けると、そのシートを無駄なく使
用できる場合がある。なお、本体８とクランプ部材１３
との係止顎３５，３６間にはシート５が介在している。
【００１５】この発明の掃除用具１において、二組の互
いに平行な辺７Ａと７Ｂとは、それらの長さの比を所要
の値にすることができる。

【発明の効果】この発明に係る掃除用具では、四角形の
板状体を画成する二組の互いに平行な辺のうちのどちら
の組の辺でも拭き取り用シートを折り返すことができる
から、様々な寸法の拭き取り用シートの利用が可能にな
る。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】二組の互いに平行な辺が直交して画成する
    四角形板状体の上面に長柄を有し、該板状体に着脱する
    汚れ拭き取り用シートで該板状体下面を被覆する掃除用
    具であって、 前記拭き取り用シートを着脱するための手段が、前記板
    状体の上面において前記二組のうちの一組の平行な辺を
    二等分する線上で互いに内端部を対向させて左右対称に
    配設された一対のクランプ部材と、該クランプ部材が係
    脱する前記上面に形成された係合手段とで構成され、 前記一対のクランプ部材のそれぞれが、前記上面から上
    方へ開くことができるように前記内端部において枢動可
    能に前記上面に取り付けられて、開いたときには該クラ
    ンプ部材と前記上面との間に前記拭き取り用シートの縁
    部を挿入可能であり、閉じたときには、該クランプ部材
    が前記上面の係合手段に係合して、挿入された前記シー
    トの縁部を前記上面とともに挟持可能であることを特徴
    とする前記掃除用具。
