Abstract
Description
Claims (28)
- 1.生体粗織のための無線周波数の離解装置であって: 複数の電極を含み、前記複数の電極は2次元または3次元のアレイとして展開可 能である電極カテーテルアレイと;および 一定の予め定められた期間、実質的な電圧差が各々のアレイの対の電極間に存在 し、RF加熱をその間に前記電極カテーテルアレイに近接する生体組織に均一な 離解を起こさせるための前記複数の電極に個々の位相を持ったRF電圧を供給す る手段とからなる生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 2.請求項1記載の生体組織のための無線周波数離解装置において: 前記複数の電極は異なった直径を持つことが許容され;および 前記より小さい電極はアレイ中のより大きい電極の0.7倍以上である生体組織 のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 3.請求項1記載の生体組織に無線周波数による離解を行う装置であって: アレイのカバー領域は電極の展開した範囲内によって覆われ、そして1つの電極 の接触領域は前記電極が生体組織に接触することによって規定され、全ての電極 が生体組織に接触することによって規定され;および全ての電極の接触面積の総 和は前記アレイのカバー領域の0.2倍である生体組織のための無線周波数の離 解装置。
- 4.請求項1記載の生体組織に無線周波数による離解を行う装置において: 前記アレイ中の電極間の平均の距離はアレイ中の電極の平均の直径の2.5倍以 下である生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 5.請求項1記載の生体組織に無線周波数による離解を行う装置であって: 離解の温度を検出するために電極アレイの中に設けられた温度センサと;および 前記個々の位相を持つRF電圧を予め定められた離解の温度に維持するために前 記検出温度にしたがって前記位相の異なるRF信号を調整する手段とをさらに含 む生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 6.生体組織に無線周波数による離解を行う装置であって: 複数の電極を持ち、前記複数の電極は2次元または3次元アレイに展開可能であ る1つの電極カテーテルアレイと; 前記電極カテーテルアレイ間の複数の隣接する電極対で各々は1つの電極とそれ の近接する電極から形成されるものである複数の近接電極対と;および前記隣接 する対の複数の電極に位相の異なるRF電圧を供給する手段であって、ある予め 定められた期間,実質的に各隣接する電極対間に存在する電圧差によってそれら の間にRF加熱を電極カテーテルアレイに近接する生体組織に均一な離解を達成 するために行うRF電圧を供給する手段とを含む生体組織のための無線周波数の 離解装置。
- 7.請求項6記載の生体組織に無線周波数の離解を起こさせる装置であって: 複数個の電極は異なった直径を持っており;およびより小さい電極の直径はアレ イ中のより大きい電極の0.7倍より大きいものである生体組織のための無線周 波数の離解装置。
- 8.請求項6記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において: アレイのカバー範囲は展開された電極アレイによって規定され、そして電極の接 触領域は前記電極が生体組織と接触することよって規定され;および全ての電極 の接触領域の面積の総和はアレイのカバー領域の0.2倍以上である生体組織の ための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 9.請求項6記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において; アレイ中の電極間の平均の距離はアレイ中の電極の平均直径の2.5倍以下であ る生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 10.請求項6記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において: 前記電極アレイ中に離解の温度を検出するために設けられた1つの温度センサと ;および 前記温度センサに応じて予め定められた離解温度に保つために前記個々の位相を 持つRF電圧を調整するための手段とをさらに含む生体組織のための無線周波数 の離解装置。
- 11.生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において: 1つの電極カテーテルアレイは5本の電極を持ち、前記5本の電極は第1および 第2の離れた電極対を形成するために2次元的アレイを構成するために展開させ られ、前記第1および第2の電極の対は実質的に直交する形態であって、そして 残りの電極が前記交差点の真ん中に設けられている; 2相の電圧を前記第1の極および第2の極と共通の電極間に供給する無線電源と ; 前記第1の極を前記第1の対の電極に接続し、前記第2の極を前記第2の電極に 接続し、そして前記共通の電極を前記残りの電極に接続する手段と;および前記 無線周波数の電源ソースを前記2相電圧で予め定められた周波数と電圧と位相差 を持っており、予め定められた期間中に実質的に電圧差が前記残りの奇数の中央 電極と前記第1および第2の電極間が前記電極カテーテルアレイに接触する生体 組織に均一な離解を発生させるためにその間にRF加熱を起こさせるように調整 される手段とからなる生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 12.請求項11記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を起こさせる装置であって : 前記2相電圧の位相差は70から110度の範囲にある生体組織のための無線周 波数の離解装置。
- 13.請求項11記載の生体組織に無線周波数の離解を起こさせる装置において : 複数の電極は直径を変えることが許容されており;および 前記より小さい電極は前記アレイ中のより大きい電極の直径の0.7倍以上であ る生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 14.請求項11記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を起こさせる装置において : 前記アレイがカバーする範囲は展開した電極アレイの範囲によって規定され、前 記電極の接触は生体組織と前記電極が接触することによって規定される;および 前記全ての電極の総和は前記アレイのカバー領域の12倍以上である生体組織の ための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 15.請求項11記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において: アレイ中の前記電極間の平均の距離は前記アレイ中の電極の平均直径の2.5倍 以下である生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 16.請求項11記載の生体組織に無線周波数で離解を行う装置において; 離解の温度を検出するための電極アレイ中に設けられた1つの温度センサと;お よび 予め定められた離解の温度を保つために前記温度センサの出力に応答して位相が 異なるRF電圧を調整するための手段とをさらに含む生体組織のための無線周波 数の離解装置。
- 17.心臓の組織を離解するための無線周波数カテーテル離解装置において: 5個の電極を持ち前記5個の電極は2次元アレイを形成するために間隔を保って 電極の第1および第2の対と残りの1つの電極に展開され、前記第1および第2 の電極の対は実質的に交差形状を形成するように配置され、そして残りの電極は 前記交点に配置させられる電極カテーテルアレイと; 前記第1の極と第2の極および共通の極に2相の電圧を供給するための無線周波 数エネルギー源と;第1の極と第2の極および共通の極に2相の電圧を供給する ための無線周波数電源と; 前記第1の極と前記第1の対の電極を接続し、そして前記第2の極を接続し、前 記中央の極と前記残りの極を接続するための接続手段と;および前記無線周波数 の電源は前記2相の電圧であって、予め定められた周波数電圧および位相差を持 っているものを予め定められた期間,実質的に前記残りの中心の電極と前記第1 および第2の電極間および前記第1および第2の電極間に電圧差が存在して、電 極カテーテルアレイに近接する生体組織に均一な離解を起こさせるためにRF加 熱を起こさせるようにする制御手段とからなる生体組織のための無線周波数の離 解装置。
- 18.請求項17記載の心臓組織を離解するための無線周波数離解装置において : 前記2相電圧の位相差は70から110度の範囲である生体組織のための無線周 波数の離解装置。
- 19.請求項17記載の心臓組織を離解するための無線周波数カテーテル離解装 置において、前記複数の電極は異なる直径を持つことが許容され;および前記よ り小さい電極は前記アレイ中のより大きい電極の直径の0.7倍以上である生体 組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 20.請求項17記載の心臓組織を離解するための無線周波数カテーテル離解装 置において、アレイのカバー領域は電極アレイの展開範囲によって規定され、そ して1つの電極の接触領域は前記電極が生体組織と接触することによって規定さ れる;および前記電極の接触領域の全領域は前記アレイのカバー範囲の0.2倍 以上である生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 21.請求項17記載の心臓組織を離解するための無線周波数カテーテル離解装 置において:前記アレイ中の電極の平均的な距離は前記アレイ中の電極の平均的 な直径の2.5倍以下である生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 22.請求項17記載の心臓組織を離解するための無線周波数カテーテル離解装 置であって:離解の温度を検出するための温度に電極アレイ中に設けられた1つ の温度センサと;および離解の温度を予め定められた一定値に保つために前記温 度センサに応答して前記個々の相を持つRF電圧を調整するための手段とからな る生体組織のための無線周波数の離解装置。
- 23.生体組織を離解するための方法において:複数の電信を持つ電極カテーテ ルアレイを提供するステップと; 前記電極カテーテルアレイを離解されるべき生体組織の領域に配置するステップ と; 前記電極カテーテルアレイを2次元または3次元に展開するステップと; 写像装置に関連して前記離解されるべき生体組織の領域を前記電極カテーテルア レイを走査するステップと; 前記写像装置により1またはそれ以上の病巣をそれに接触された電極カテーテル アレイの電気的応答に応答して離解されるべき1または2以上の病巣の位置を突 き止めるステップと; 前記個々の電極に予め定められた期間,実質的な個々の前記アレイ中の電極対に 実質的な電位差が存在して前記カテーテルアレイに近接する1またはそれ以上の 病巣を均一に離解することを完成するために位相の異なるRF電圧を各々の電極 に供給するステップとを含む生体組織のための無線周波数の離解方法。
- 24.請求項23記載の生体組織を離解するための方法において: 複数個の電極は異なった直径を持つことが許容され;および 前記より小さい電極はアレイ中のより大きい電極の0.7倍である生体組織のた めの無線周波数の離解方法。
- 25.請求項23記載の生体組織を離解する方法において: アレイのカバー範囲は展開された電極アレイの広がりの範囲に規定され、そして 電極の接触領域は前記電極が生体組織と接触することによって規定される;およ び 前記電極の接触領域の総和は前記アレイのカバー範囲の0.2倍以上である生体 組織のための無線周波数の離解方法。
- 26.請求項23記載の生体組織を離解する方法において: 前記アレイ中の電極間の平均距離はアレイ中の電極の平均直径の2.5倍以下で ある生体組織のための無線周波数の離解方法。
- 27.請求項23に含まれる生体組織を離解するための方法においてさらに次の ステップを含む:前記電極アレイ中の1またはそれ以上の温度センサによって離 解中の温度を検出するステップと;および前記異なった位相を持つRF電圧を前 記温度センサに応答して予め定められた離解温度に保つために調節するステップ とを含む生体組織のための無線周波数の離解方法。
- 28.請求項23記載の生体組織を離解するための方法であって、次のステップ を含む: 生体組織中の隣接する離解領域を順次離解して、予め定められた大きさの損傷が 発生するまで行う生体組織のための無線周波数の離解方法。
