Description
また、高周波アブレーションカテーテルを使用して焼灼を行う場合、生体組織の局所的な温度の急激な温度上昇が生じて組織の炭化現象を生じてしまい、焼灼部位の焼灼の範囲は小さく、かつ焼灼深度も浅くなるという問題があった。
したがって、本発明は前記のような課題を解決したアブレーションカテーテルの提供を目的とする。
前記電極の振動数としては例えば5〜50Hzである。また、前記電極の振動の方向は横方向および縦方向である。

Claims (3)
- 先端側に生体組織を電気焼灼(以下、アブレーションともいう)可能な電極(以下、アブレーション電極と言う)を有する心臓内に留置させて不整脈の治療に使用するアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記アブレーション電極が不整脈の治療中に横方向及び縦方向に振動し、血流によって冷却されるものであることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- アブレーション部分の焼灼状態の確認結果に基づいてアブレーション電極の振動の制御が可能なものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- アブレーション部分の温度検知手段を有し、該温度検知手段によるアブレーション部分の検知温度に基づいてアブレーション電極の振動の制御可能なものであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
