Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 自動車用無線電話と携帯用無線電話器を共用
可能にする。 【構成】 センターコンソール３の取付穴４へ嵌合可能
な車体組込ユニット６を電話機能部とこれに一体化又は
分離時自在な着脱式無線機８で構成する。着脱式無線機
８を電話機能部から分離して別置の小型送受話器２５へ
取付けると、携帯用無線電話器として利用できる。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は自動車に搭載する無線
電話に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】自動車用無線電話装置として、例えば助
手席横のアームレスト部にハンドセットを配置し、これ
からトランクルーム内に別置きされた無線機へ配線した
ものが公知である。さらに、携帯用無線電話器として小
型送受話器に小型無線機を組込んで携帯用に構成したも
のも知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、自動車用無
線電話装置の別置きされている構成部品をユニット化で
きれば、上記従来例のように複数カ所での取付や長い配
線を不要とするので取付作業が容易になる。さらに携帯
用無線電話器と自動車用無線電話装置との構成部品を共
通化できれば一層便利である。本発明は、係る要請を満
足させることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記課題を解決するた
め、本発明に係る自動車用無線電話装置は、電話機能部
と、この電話機能部に対して一体化又は分離可能な着脱
式無線機とを備え、電話機能部に着脱式無線機を取付け
ると両者が一体化して車室内支持部に設けられた取付穴
へ嵌合取付可能な車体組込ユニットを構成するととも
に、着脱式無線機は車体組込ユニットと別体の携帯用無
線電話器を構成する着脱自在な無線機部分としても共通
使用可能にしたことを特徴とする。

【作用】自動車用無線電話装置は、電話機能部と着脱式
無線機とを一体化すると、車体組込ユニットを構成して
車室内支持部に設けられた取付穴へ簡単な作業で嵌合取
付可能になる。また、電話機能部から着脱式無線機を取
り外し、これを車体組込ユニットと別体の携帯用無線電
話器を構成する小型送受話器に取付けると、一体化して
携帯用無線電話器を構成する。

【実施例】図２は自動車のセンターコンソール及びこれ
に本発明に係る無線電話装置を取付ける状態を説明する
図である。この図において、インストルメントパネル１
の運転席側にはメーターパネル２が設けられ、中央部に
は車体床方向へ延びるセンターコンソール３が一体に形
成されている。インストルメントパネル１及びセンター
コンソール３は車室内支持部の一例である。
【０００７】センターコンソール３にはオーディオの外
形について定められる所定規格、例えばドイツ工業規格
（ＤＩＮ）にしたがった、所定規格サイズの取付穴４が
形成されている。また、その下方にも所定規格サイズの
１／２サイズの取付穴５が形成されている。
【０００８】取付穴４には本発明の自動車無線電話装置
を構成する車体組込ユニット６が嵌合可能になってい
る。車体組込ユニット６は所定規格サイズのケース７を
有し、取付穴４内へ嵌合後、センターコンソール３の裏
側で適宜なブラケット（図示省略）を介してセンターコ
ンソール３へ固定される。
【０００９】車体組込ユニット６を取付穴４へ嵌合する
と、ケース７が取付穴４と同じ所定規格サイズのため、
取付穴４内へぴったりと嵌合して取付けられる。このた
め、センターコンソール３及びインストルメントパネル
１との一体感を出すことが可能である。また、センター
コンソール３に支持されるので、各種の操作キー（後
述）が運転席及び助手席のいずれ側からも操作し易くな
る。
【００１０】車体組込ユニット６は後述する電話機能部
と着脱式無線機８が一体化されたものであり、着脱式無
線機８にはラジオ用アンテナ９が共用接続されている。
着脱式無線機８は小型であり、車体組込ユニット６にお
ける電話機能部の前面に設けられた開口部から出し入れ
自在になっている。この開口部から着脱式無線機８を電
話機能部内へ組み込むと、着脱式無線機８が電話機能部
と内部で接続一体化することにより、車体組込ユニット
６がハンドフリータイプの無線電話装置になる。
【００１１】また着脱式無線機８には図示を省略してあ
るが、後述する携帯用無線電話器の電源用となるバッテ
リが内蔵され、このバッテリは着脱式無線機８が車体組
込ユニット６内へ一体化されているとき、エンジン始動
後の電話不使用状態で車体側電源から充電されている。
【００１２】図３は車体組込ユニット６の詳細な外観並
びに他部品との接続システムを示す図である。車体組込
ユニット６は電話機能部を備え、電話機能部は送受話
部、操作部並びに通信制御装置などの電話機能に必要な
全ての部品からなっている。但し、送受話部及び操作部
などの一部を除き、通信制御装置などの電話に必要なそ
の他の部品はケース７の内部に収容されるため図示され
ていない。
【００１３】ケース７の前面にはフェイスカバー１０が
開閉自在に取付けられ、フェイスカバー１０に覆われる
部分に操作部をなす操作パネル１１が設けられている。
操作パネル１１にはハンドフリーマイク１２、ディスプ
レー１３並びに種々の機能キーとして、開始／終了キー
１４、ボリュームアップキー１５、リコールキー１６、
ボリュームダウンキー１７、ファンクションキー１８、
メモリストアキー１９、メモリクリアキー２０、電源キ
ー２１、テンキー２２等が設けられている。
【００１４】車体組込ユニット６の受話音声出力部はオ
ーディオ用の車載スピーカー２３へ接続され、ハンドフ
リー通話時に、相手側の送話音声をオーディオ出力に割
り込ませて拡声出力可能である。
【００１５】図１は着脱式無線機８を車体組込ユニット
６又は携帯用無線電話器として相互使用する場合のシス
テム概念図であり、車体組込ユニット６とは別に小型送
受話器２５が用意されている。この小型送受話器２５は
公知の携帯用無線電話器から無線機部分だけを除いた残
りの部分に相当する。
【００１６】携帯用無線電話器の無線機部分には着脱式
無線機８が共通使用される。すなわち、着脱式無線機８
は小型送受話器２５に対しても着脱自在であり、小型送
受話器２５へ着脱式無線機８を取付けた場合には携帯用
無線電話器を構成し、小型送受話器２５は着脱式無線機
８に内蔵されているバッテリから電源を供給され、通常
の携帯用無線電話器として単独で無線電話可能である。
【００１７】不使用時の小型送受話器２５は車室内の適
当位置、例えば後部座席中央に設けられるセンターアー
ムレスト２６の内部へ収容されている。アームレスト２
６の内部には空間が設けられており、この空間内に小型
送受話器２５の受け台２７が設けられている。そこで小
型送受話器２５の不使用時にはこれをセンターアームレ
スト２６内の受け台２７上へ置き、蓋２８を閉じておけ
ば盗難予防になる。なお、センターアームレスト２６に
代えて、センターコンソール等適宜場所が利用可能であ
る。
【００１８】次に、本実施例の作用を説明する。まず図
１において、自動車用無線電話装置として使用する場合
には、予め電話機能部に着脱式無線機８を一体化して車
体組込ユニット６を構成しておく。この状態でハンドフ
リー通話を行う場合は、操作キー１１の開始／終了キー
１４（図３）を押し、続いてテンキー２２（同）等の適
宜操作キー１１を用いて発信操作を行い、着脱式無線機
８を介して相手側電話を呼び出す。
【００１９】相手側の電話が応答すると通話可能にな
り、送話音声はハンドフリーマイク１２から車体組込ユ
ニット６内へ入力され、電話機能部における所定の内部
処理を経て着脱式無線機８及びこれと接続するアンテナ
９から相手側電話へ無線送信される。また、相手側から
送られた受話音声はアンテナ９を介して着脱式無線機８
で受信され、車体組込ユニット６内部の所定処理を経
て、オーディオの出力へ割り込まれ、車載スピーカー２
３（図３）から拡声出力される。
【００２０】さらに、携帯用無線電話器として利用する
には、着脱式無線機８を車体組込ユニット６から取り外
し、センターアームレスト２６内の受け台２７から外し
た小型送受話器２５へ取付ける。これにより小型送受話
器２５は通常の携帯用無線電話器として無線電話が可能
になるので経済的である。しかも車室内で使用するとき
は、車体組込ユニット６によるハンドフリー通話と異な
り、秘話通話が可能になり、かつ後部座席でも通話可能
になるるので便利である。
【００２１】なお、アンテナ９はラジオ用の車載アンテ
ナのフィーダーを車体組込ユニット６へ接続してある。
したがって、車体組込ユニット６のために専用のアンテ
ナケーブルを配線することが不要になる。しかも、ラジ
オ使用中に車体組込ユニット６のハンドフリー通話を行
っても、その都度アンテナ９が引き込まなくなる。

【発明の効果】本発明に係る無線電話装置は、電話機能
部と着脱式無線機とを一体化して車室内支持部に設けら
れた取付穴へ嵌合取付可能である車体組込ユニットを構
成するとともに、着脱式無線機を電話機能部に対して着
脱自在とし、かつ電話機能部から分離させたとき別体の
小型送受話器に取付て携帯用無線電話器を構成可能にし
た。ゆえに、ユニットとして車室内支持部の取付穴へ嵌
合取付けすると、一体感のある取付を簡単な作業で行う
ことができる。
【００２３】そのうえ、着脱式無線機を無線電話装置の
電話機能部から分離して別置の小型送受話器へ取付けれ
ば、通常の携帯用無線電話器として車室内外で利用でき
るので、部品の共通化を図ることができて経済的である
とともに、この携帯用無線電話器を車内で使用する場合
は、秘話通話並びに後部座席用として利用できるので極
めて便利である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 電話機能部と、この電話機能部に対して
    一体化又は分離可能な着脱式無線機とを備え、電話機能
    部に着脱式無線機を取付けると両者が一体化して車室内
    支持部に設けられた取付穴へ嵌合取付可能な車体組込ユ
    ニットを構成するとともに、着脱式無線機は車体組込ユ
    ニットと別体の携帯用無線電話器を構成する着脱自在な
    無線機部分としても共通使用可能にしたことを特徴とす
    る自動車用無線電話。
