    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 乗客が乗り移動方向に沿う棧を複数並設した踏
    板と、この踏板の後端から下方に向かつて形成さ
    れ乗客の足を保護するライザとを有するエスカレ
    ータの踏段において、前記ライザ側端部に、踏段
    移動方向に巾を有し前記棧の底部より低い平坦部
    を踏段巾方向に沿つて形成し、この平坦部に前記
    複数の棧と連続し同一断面形状の複数の棧と、こ
    の棧を支持し前記平坦部と同じ高さ、同じ巾の基
    部平坦部とよりなる軟質高分子製のクリート帯を
    乗置し、このクリート帯の基部平坦部を前記平坦
    部上にビス止めしたことを特徴とするエスカレー
    タの踏段。
