Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、嵌着蓋の製造方法に係るもので、内
容物を封入した容器、例えば缶詰、油缶などに装
着する上蓋のほか、通常の開口容器にも着脱自在
に嵌着される蓋を製造するものである。
〔従来の技術〕
従来のこの種の蓋の製造方法としては、例えば
実開昭57−4729号にみられるように、合成樹脂に
より嵌着周縁と受縁、及び下部内側に凹み周縁を
有する突出周条とを一体にして蓋枠を形成し、前
記凹み周縁に天板部を構成する紙等の周縁を嵌入
して受縁上に載せ、次いで凹み周縁の全周に適量
の樹脂溶着剤を吹き付け、その硬化前に蓋枠を高
速回転させ、遠心力により溶着剤を凹み周縁の内
部に流入させるとともにその表面を凹面に成形す
る方法が公知である。
また、特開昭56−84248号のように、吹き付け
た樹脂溶着剤の硬化前に、ローラーによりその表
面を平坦な傾斜面等に成形する方法も行われてい
る。
〔本発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし、前述した従来の製造法においては、第
4図にみられるように、(イ)合成樹脂製の蓋枠1′
には突出周条4′の下部内側に凹み周縁5を形成
することを要するから、金型の製作及び蓋枠の成
形が複雑化していた、(ロ)天板部を構成する紙等
6′の周端縁は前記凹み周縁5の部分に嵌入され
るが、この際、その周端縁と凹み周縁の内壁面と
の間隔aを全周にわたつて等間隔に保たねばなら
ず、この間隔が不均一で広狭の偏りを有すると樹
脂溶着剤nの凹み周縁5内への流入、及び表面形
成等が全周にわたつて均一に行われないから、紙
等の嵌入位置を微細に調整して決めねばならない
製作上の困難性があつた、(ハ)凹み周縁への樹脂溶
着剤の吹付け装置が不可欠であるほか、その吹付
け量もあらかじめ計量する必要があり、装置及び
工程が多くて煩雑である、などの問題点があつ
た。
〔問題点を解決するための手段〕
本発明は上記の問題点を全て解消しようとする
もので、嵌着周縁と受縁及び前記嵌着周縁の延長
方向で受縁外周から上方に突出する突出周条を一
体成形した合成樹脂製蓋枠の前記受縁上に、天板
部を構成する表示紙葉を載置し、次いで加熱装置
を外側斜め上方から前記突出周条に押し当て、そ
の上部及び内側を軟化溶融させつつ蓋枠を回転さ
せ、前記突出周条を全周にわたり表示紙葉の周端
部上面に被覆溶着させることを要旨とするもので
ある。
〔作用及び実施例〕
第1図、第2図は本発明に係る製造法を具体化
して示した一実施例であり、以下、これについて
本製造法の作用と併せて説明する。
蓋枠1はスチロールその他の樹脂で形成され、
嵌着周縁不と適宜な幅で内周に突出している受縁
3、及び前記嵌着周縁の延長方向で受縁外周から
上方に突出している突出周条4とからなり、この
蓋枠1は公知の成形手段によつて一体に成形され
る。
本製造法では、まず、このように構成された蓋
枠1の受縁3上に、所要の印刷表示を表面に施し
た表示紙葉6を載置する。この表示紙葉6は通常
用いられる紙材のほか、紙材の下面にポリエチレ
ン、ポリプロピレン等の樹脂フイルムをラミネー
トしたものも含まれる。前記表示紙葉6を載置す
るにあたつては、表示紙葉6の直径bをあらかじ
め突出周条4の内径b′に相当させておけば、表示
紙葉6を供給する際に軽く押圧するのみで確実に
受縁3上に載置されるから、載置する位置の位置
決めは不必要である(第1図)。
次いで、加熱装置7を外側斜め上方から突出周
条4に押し当てて加熱する。この加熱装置として
は適宜な装置が用いられるが、本実施例では超音
波振動子を用いて超音波エネルギーを発振させて
いる。これにより、突出周条4の該部分が軟化溶
融して表示紙葉6の周端部上面にかぶさり、受縁
3との間でこれを包み込む。この際、超音波によ
る溶融域が突出周条4の上部から内側の部分にな
るように調整することで、溶融した樹脂が蓋枠1
の外周面に流出することを防止させてある(第1
図,)。
この状態で、第2図示のように、蓋枠1を所定
の速度で回転させると、突出周条4の上部及び内
側がその全周にわたつて表示紙葉6の周端部の上
面にかぶさり、これが冷却硬化して蓋枠1と表示
紙葉6とは一体に溶着される。
上記において、蓋枠1の回転速度は使用樹脂の
種類、突出周条の厚みなどによつて適宜に選定さ
れ、また、蓋枠1の回転回数は通常の場合は1回
転で足りるが、必要により数回転させ、そのつど
加熱装置を段階的に押し出して仕上げるようにし
てもよい。
なお、前記加熱装置は本実施例の超音波加熱に
限定されるものではなく、高周波損失の大きい例
えば塩化ビニル樹脂などを用いた場合には、高周
波誘導加熱によつて溶着することもできる。
第3図は本製法によつて得られた蓋の要部の拡
大断面図を示している。これによつて明らかなよ
うに、本製法で製された蓋は、天板部を構成する
表示紙葉6の周端面6aと周縁部上面6bとを含
めた周端部が蓋枠1の合成樹脂に包み込まれて一
体に溶着されるから、表示紙葉6が周端部から剥
がれたり裂けたりすることがなく、強固に接合さ
れて充分な強度を有するとともに、気密性、防湿
防水性が高められたものとなる。
〔効果〕
上記のごとく、本発明によれば、蓋枠には単に
表示紙葉を載置すればよいので特別に微細な位置
決めを要せず、また、蓋枠の突出周条に加熱装置
を押し当てつつこの蓋枠を回転させ蓋枠の合成樹
脂で表示紙葉の周端部を一体に溶着するので、従
来の樹脂溶着剤及びその吹付け装置を省くことが
でき、工程が簡易化され、しかも接合強度が高く
て容易に破損せず、耐久性、気密性、防水性等に
すぐれた蓋を製し得る効果がある。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 嵌着周縁と受縁及び前記嵌着周縁の延長方向
    で受縁外周から上方に突出する突出周条を一体成
    形した合成樹脂製蓋枠の前記受縁上に、天板部を
    構成する表示紙葉を載置し、次いで加熱装置を外
    側斜め上方から前記突出周条に押し当て、その上
    部及び内側を軟化溶融させつつ蓋枠を回転させ、
    前記突出周条を全周にわたり表示紙葉の周端部上
    面に被覆溶着させることを特徴とした蓋の製造方
    法。 2 前記加熱装置に超音波振動子を用いた特許請
    求の範囲第1項記載の蓋の製造方法。 3 前記加熱装置に高周波電極を用いた特許請求
    の範囲第1項記載の蓋の製造方法。
