Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は、樹脂製部品と該樹脂製部品に接着性のある他
の部品とを誘導加熱により溶着する溶着方法に関するも
のである。
(従来の技術) 一般に、樹脂部品の誘導加熱溶着方法としては次のよう
なものが広く用いられている。すなわち、第2図に示す
ように、先ず、金網aに対して樹脂部品すの合わせ面の
形状に合わせて打ち抜き加工を施し、所定形状の金網a
−を作製する。その後、この金網a′を挟むように樹脂
部品す、b同士を合わせ、誘導コイルC等を用いて誘導
加熱により上記金網a′を加熱し、樹脂部品す、bの合
わせ面同士を溶融して両者を溶着する。
また、別の誘導加熱溶着方法として、前述の金網の代わ
り、第3図に示すように、樹脂部品すの合わせ面の形状
に予め作製された電磁シー)dを用い、該電磁シートd
を挟むように樹脂部品す。
b同士を合わせ、誘導加熱により上記電磁シートdを加
熱し、樹脂部品す、b同士を溶着するものも知られてい
る。
(発明が解決しようとする課題) ところが、上記従来の誘導加熱溶着方法のうち、前者の
場合には、金網aを樹脂部品すの合わせ面の形状に打ち
抜くため、打ち抜かれた分がムダになるという欠点があ
る。その上、特に、樹脂部品bの合わせ面が複雑なもの
であるときには、金網aの打ち抜き作業がかなり面倒で
あり、また、樹脂部品すの合わせ面が3次元のものであ
るときには、該樹脂部品すの合わせ面に金網a゛をセッ
トする際に該金網a′がズレないようにする必要がある
ため、作業性が悪いという問題もある。さらに、樹脂部
品す、  b同士の溶着に用いた金網aが錆びるおそれ
もある。
一方、後者の場合、電磁シートdは、樹脂部品すの合わ
せ面の形状に作製するよう特注されるものであって、そ
の単価がかなり高いため、樹脂部品の接着方法としては
汎用性に欠けるという問題がある。
本発明はかかる点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目
的とするところは、従来の金網あるいは電磁シートの代
わりに適切な電磁誘導材を用い、作業性、防錆性および
汎用性等に優れた樹脂部品の溶着方法を提供せんとする
ものである。
(課題を解決するための手段) 上記目的を達成するため、本発明の解決手段は、樹脂製
部品と該樹脂製部品に接着性のある他の部品とを溶着す
る溶着方法として、次のような構成とする。
すなわち、先ず、上記樹脂製部品および他の部品の少な
くとも一方の溶着しようとする部分に、両部品と接着性
のある母材に磁性粉を混ぜ合わせてなる接着剤を盛り付
ける。その後、上記接着剤を挟むように樹脂製部品と他
の部品とを合わせ、誘導加熱により接着剤を加熱し、部
品同士を溶着する構成とするものである。
(作用) 上記の構成により、本発明では、接着剤としての電磁誘
導材は部品の溶着部に必要な分盛り付ければよく、余分
に使用することはない。しかも、上記接着剤は電磁シー
トに比べて安価なものであるので、溶着方法としてはコ
スト面で汎用性に優れる。
また、上記部品の溶着部が3次元面をなすなど複雑な場
合でも、その溶着部に接着剤を容易に盛り付けることが
でき、溶着作業を迅速かつ確実に行うことができる。
さらに、接着性のある母材に磁性粉を混ぜ合わせてなる
接着剤は電磁シートと同様に錆びることがないので、こ
の接着剤を電磁誘導材として使用しても錆びの問題は生
じない。
(実施例) 以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
第1図は本発明の一実施例として合わせタイプの樹脂製
中空容器の製造方法に適用した場合を示す。中空容器の
製造に先立って、一対の半割り容器1,2を用意する。
この半割り容器1,2は、同一種類の樹脂、あるいは異
種のものでかつ互いに接着性のある樹脂からなる。
そして、先ず初めに、第1図(A)に示すように、一方
の半割り容器lの合わせフランジ部1a上に押出機3か
ら接着剤4を押出して該合わせフランジ部la全周に亘
って盛り付ける。上記接着剤4は、上記両半割り容器1
,2と接着性のある母材(例えば半割り容器1,2と同
一種類の樹脂)に鉄粉等の磁性粉を混ぜ合わせてなるも
のである。
ここで、上記半割り容器1の合わせフランジ部laに対
する接着剤4の盛り付けは、たとえ合わせフランジ部1
aの形状が複雑な場合でも、押出機3の押出口3aを合
わせフランジ部1aに沿って移動させ、あるいは押出機
3の押出口3aの下方に合わせフランジ部1aがその周
方向に順次対向するよう半割り容器1を移動させること
により容易に行うことができ、作業効率を高めることが
できる。その上、接着剤4は半割り容器lの合わせフラ
ンジ部1aに必要な分盛り付ければよく、余分に使用す
、ることはない。また、接着剤4は従来の電磁誘導材と
しての電磁シートに比べて安価なものであるので、コス
トの低廉化を図ることができる。
その後、第1図(B)に示すように、上記接着剤4を挟
むように半割り容器1の合わせフランジ部la上に他の
半割り容器2の合わせフランジ部2aを合わせて栽せる
。次いで、誘導コイル5等を用いて誘導加熱により上記
接着剤4を加熱し、その熱により半割り容器1,2の合
わせフランジ部1a、2a同士を溶融して両者を溶着す
る。以上によって、第1図(C)に示す如き樹脂製の中
空容器6が製造される。
この中空容器6は、両半割り容器1,2の合わせフラン
ジ部1g、2a同士の溶着部に磁性粉を僅かに含有する
だけであるので、その部分に錆が発生することはない。
尚、上記実施例では、本発明を、合わせタイプの中空容
器の製造において樹脂製の半割り容器1゜2同士を合わ
せ溶着する場合について適用したが、樹脂製部品と該樹
脂製部品に接着性のある他の部品とを溶着するその他の
場合にも適用することができる。その際、両部品と接着
性のある母材に磁性粉を混ぜ合わせてなる接着剤は、実
施例の如く一方の部品(半割り容器1)に盛り付けるだ
けでなく、両方の部品に盛り付けるようにしてもよい。
(発明の効果) 以上の如く、本発明における樹脂部品の溶着方法によれ
ば、材料のムダな使用がなくかつ誘導加熱材が安価なも
のであるので、コスト的に安価で汎用性に優れる。また
、作業性および防錆性にも優れ、実用性に優れた効果を
有するものである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)樹脂製部品と該樹脂製部品に接着性のある他の部
    品とを溶着する溶着方法であって、上記樹脂製部品およ
    び他の部品の少なくとも一方の溶着しようとする部分に
    、両部品と接着性のある母材に磁性粉を混ぜ合わせてな
    る接着剤を盛り付け、その後、上記接着剤を挟むように
    樹脂製部品と他の部品とを合わせ、誘導加熱により接着
    剤を加熱し、部品同士を溶着することを特徴とする樹脂
    部品の溶着方法。
