Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明はオイルフイルタ等の製造に利用するこ
とができるプラスチツク部品への金網溶着方法に
関する。
(従来技術とその問題点) 例えば、特開昭57−198361号および特開昭60−
84118号に示すようにプラスチツク部品間にフイ
ルタ部材を挾持して溶着する場合は両面に被溶着
面を有するため、接合強度上の問題は生じにく
い。しかしながら、第6図に示すようにオイルフ
イルタのケースをなすプラスチツク部品1の周囲
被溶着面11に金属製金網2を載置し、ポリエス
テル平板からなる押え面31有する押え金具3に
て押圧し、押え面31背後のコイル32にて金網
2を加熱して溶着する場合は第7図に示すように
金網2内に溶融樹脂Rが侵入するだけで、片面に
て溶融固着となるため、固着樹脂層Rから金網2
の構成線材Wが抜けやすく、充分な溶着強度が得
られないという問題点がある。また、上記加熱コ
イルのうず電流が直接金網を加熱するため、溶着
強度にバラツキが生じやすく、しかも金網自体が
焦げ易く、強度劣化の原因となつている。
(発明の課題) 本発明は上記押え金具にて押圧加熱してプラス
チツク部品へ金網を片面溶着するにあたり、大き
い溶着強度が得られる金網溶着方法を提供するこ
とを課題とする。
(課題解決のための手段) 本発明は被溶着面の溶融樹脂が金網を介して押
圧面側に浸透して金網表面を覆うようにすれば、
溶着強度の向上が図れることを見出だして完成し
たもので、 プラスチツク部品に対して金網を片面溶着する
にあたり、 プラスチツク部品の被溶着面に金属製の金網を
載置し、該金網を押え面に鋸歯状の凹凸を有する
押え金具にて被溶着面に押圧し、加熱することに
より被溶着面側の溶融樹脂を金網の押え面側に浸
出させて盛り上げ硬化させることを要旨とするプ
ラスチツク部品への金網溶着方法にある。
本発明が適用できるプラスチツク部品は熱可塑
性樹脂から成形される。その被溶着面は平坦であ
つてもよいが、溶融樹脂の金網浸透性を考慮する
と、第1図に示すように、被溶着面11に複数の
突起12を形成するのがよい。
他方、金属製金網はステンレス製が好ましい
が、他の金属により製造することができる。
また、押え金具は金網を被溶着面に押圧しつ
つ、その押え面に金網の網目から浸透してくる溶
融樹脂の溜まりを形成する必要が有り、鋸刃状の
凹凸が形成されるのがよい。
(作用) 本発明によれば、プラスチツク部品の被溶着面
への金網の押圧により第3図に示すように、溶融
樹脂Rは金網2のメツシユ内に入り、メツシユを
越えて押え面の樹脂溜まりに至り、金網2の押え
面を覆い、固化して金網2を被溶着面11に固着
することになる。
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す具体例に基づ
き、詳細に説明する。
(実施例) 第1図は本発明方法を実施するための金網溶着
治具の断面図で、プラスチツク部品1の被溶着面
11に金網2が載置され、それに対向して金網周
囲を被溶着面11に押圧する押え金具3が配置さ
れている。該押え金具3はベークライト製プレー
ト33にアスベスト製押え台34を固設し、その
上面周囲に上記プラスチツク部品1の被溶着面1
1に相応したスチール製押え面35を突設すると
ともに、押え台34の側面周囲を取り巻くように
加熱コイル4を配設してなる。特に、スチール製
押え面35はオイルフイルタの場合、刃高1〜2
mm、ピツチ約2mm、刃開放角度60〜90゜の断面鋸
刃状凹凸に形成されており、プラスチツク部品が
第4図に示すオイルフイルタの場合は押え面35
は第5図に示すように被溶着面11に相応した断
面鋸刃状凹凸形状をなす。
上記構成においては、加熱コイル4はスチール
製押え面35を加熱し、該押え面35にて金網2
を被溶着面11に対して押圧し、かつ加熱するの
で、加熱のバラツキが生じがたく、しかもスクリ
ーンの焦げを生じさせることもない。
(発明の効果) 以上の説明で明らかなように、本発明によれ
ば、プラスチツク部品に対して金網を片面溶着す
るにあたり、プラスチツク部品の被溶着面に金属
製の金網を載置し、押え面に鋸歯状の凹凸を有す
る押え金具にて押圧し、加熱するので、被溶着面
側の溶融樹脂が金網の押え面側に浸透して金網表
面を覆い、固着するので、従来の片面溶着に比し
て金網の溶着強度を飛躍的に向上させることがで
きる。したがつて、安定した品質のものが得られ
る。

方法を利用して製造されるオイルフイルタの被溶

押圧加熱する押え面の具体的形態を示す斜視図、
第6図は従来の溶着治具の断面図、第7図は従来

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 プラスチツク部品に対して金網を片面溶着す
    るにあたり、 プラスチツク部品の被溶着面に金属製の金網を
    載置し、該金網を押え面に鋸歯状の凹凸を有する
    押え金具にて被溶着面に押圧し、加熱することに
    より被溶着面側の溶融樹脂を金網の押え面側に浸
    出させて盛り上げ硬化させることを特徴とするプ
    ラスチツク部品への金網溶着方法。
